Bengal College of Polytechnic Durgapur Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Computer science was my dream to do and this college provide me the best in this . Between 2 internal there are 2.5 months gape and teachers have a clear eye on us so that everyone is able to perform good in it

The course was new in the market so I was interested in this and it was a very good course for every aspects in the Engineering world. we got several job opportunities in our last year of the course. yes it needs some improvements such as more practical classes more practical applications rather than theoretical part.The exams were moderate so for me it the difficulty level was medium

From End of 5th semester the college campus placement was started. Safurji and palonji and L&T and other good company have camed on our time. The percentage of student getting placement will be minimum 75 percent. I have done job after the I got the degree .

CST is best for the computer science after with 10 result. It teacher us coding and basic computer course. In the starting 1 semester they teache us 11 and 12 basis. They take exam every month. For the improvements.

In polytechnic CST is the best option for the student. It have high wage placement. CST teacher are good nature they help in every way. Exam are not so hard. They provide 1 hrs to compelete which is enough to compelete the exam .

From the end of the 4th semester, the company starts to come to the college for campus placement. Companies like tata power, tech Mahindra, etc. come to the college and offer attractive packages. The salary range from 1.5 lakhs to 4 lakh. Almost all the students get placed. I planned to do a job.

The college has a very good placement record. After 4th semester companies starts to come in the college for the placements .A lot number of company visits the college like Tata Power, shyam metallic, dhoot transmission,etc. The average package is around 2lakh per annum and the highest package can go upto 4lakh per annum. Almost all the students gets placed.

Students are become eligible for their campus placements from their final year (5th semester).some of the well known and reputed company come and visited here like Tata power, Wipro limited, Sigma Manufacturing corporation, Mudrakshi Hitech, Shyam sel & Power Ltd and Pinnacle Infotech and other national and multinational corporation. The highest package given by the Tata power is 360k to 420k L.P.A and average salary is 192k to 216k L.P.A. 80% to 90% students with good knowledge on their respective Subjects and wants to do good job can get easily placement every year. My plan was after completed the diploma to get a job in a well known and core mechanical company.

Tata Power, Yazaki India, Valeo Lighting, Minsole Limited are some of the companies that visited are colleges every year. The highest package is 4lakhs per annum. The lowest package is 2lakhs per annum. While the average package is 3lakhs per annum. Almost 90% of students get placements every year. I have joined Minsole Limited company from college placement in my final year and currently, I am doing the same job as well as studying B. Tech in Electrical Engineering.

The highest salary package provided by Tata Power is CTC 4L per annum. Yazaki limited provides 2.5L per Anum. Minsole provides 2.8L per Anum. Generally the avg. Salary package for the companies are 2.5-3L per Anum. Approx 90-95% students from every class who wants job and have good knowledge of the subject, gets the placement every year. My plan after the degree is also to get a job in a core electricak company.
