Remarks
Overall experience of studying is very good. Management are very keen for higher placement rates. However they are quite strict about attendance and disciplinary acts.They are also not very lenient on internal marks. Go for the better future you dream of.
Entrance Preview
I entered this college in 2005,I did reasonably good in my RPET( Rajasthan pre engineering test) Rank - 6000 (approx),Before counselling i visited Poornima college and get interacted with Physics lecturer. He seems to be a reasonable logical man he was very much convinced by my physics in depth knowledge. He insisted me to take Management seat and no extra cost. So this is how my journey started I later got Mechanical engineering in this college but as i was promised they offered me Computer science.
Internships Opportunities
Poornima might provide internship. I have never come across any intern in my student career new lecturers aren't paid very well as per my experience and in respect to other private engineering college of jaipur.
Placement Experience
Placement is quite top notch for the poornima,big IT giants every year grab some best of students. Manufacturing unit like cement,steel had also came for placements too. Placement cell is very supportive and listen students grievances although they are very strict about placement policies and requirements and will not let you through if you are not eligible.
College Events
College often organize technical workshops,educational visits to big industries and guest lectures. Most awaited is cultural fest which last for 3-4 days. It basically includes technical project, sports events,Fashion shows,Rock shows. The whole event is conducted in open air theatre and arbuda convention centre.
Fee Structure And Facilities
I studied in poornima college in 2009 when it was affiliated to rajasthan university and fees was around 45k year but now these days poornima is upgraded to Poornima deemed university and am unaware of fees structure now college is one of the most renowned colleges of rajasthan and you can expect a higher fees as compared to other private colleges.
Fees and Financial Aid
They provide scholarship for top 1000 ranked students which varies according to discussion. They can help you with educational loan if required.
Campus Life
Gender ratio varies according to your stream,In our branch higher girl ratio was maintained. Mechanical has lowest girl boy ratio. Extracurricular activities are quite impressive and Poornima college is often rated high against their counterparts. They have some great technical minds,sports and debaters in our campus that time. I hope the legacy still continues.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel new building has bigger rooms and well equiped. Mess food is no differ from any college otherwise.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni programs are often conducted by the placement cell of college. I personally feel honored to appear in some of the alumni meets. The knowledge exchange program is also very good for junior interaction.
Exam Structure
Course curriculum is according to Rajasthan university Later Rajasthan technical university guidelines. First year is common for all streams and there after there is semester each 6 months ( twice a year). The college conducts pre semester term and evalua
