What Students Say

Likes

Some of the Faculty here are very helpful, they try to teach the students in a way understandable.
There is good avg package in the college and most of the students get placed.
Canteen and the square is good. over-all the campus is good enough

Dislikes

Faculty just try to complete their syallabus & doesn't bother if the students get it or not.
The fees is a bit high compared to the infrastructure and all.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose the artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning course as I'm very much interested and it has the best future ahead. faculty in our college are very much experienced and very much qualified. Mid-exams occur every two months so it's better for us to revise on a daily basis.

Class Size: 64Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I guess the annual tuition fee is a bit high as it's 150000. Based on all the facilities and infrastructure, it's high. there will be fee reimbursement based on rank & also college will inform us of the scholarships to which we can apply. This will be very useful for the students.

There will be many fests conducted in the college but which can be only attended by the participants which is very sad, most the fests don't allow the involvement of 1st years but I hope there's a chance to participate in the coming years . library here is good which has a number of books but it doesn't have any novels. classrooms are also provided with digital boards which will help in smart learning

Admission

I got admission to CVR college of Engineering through eamcet, where I secured a rank of 11k. We can apply to this college from eamcet counselling. I'm from an OBC background so there's a little reservation and there's a separate reservation for girls. we can even apply to this college through b cat and management kota.

I will rate my curriculum 2.5 out of 5 stars.The syllabus covers the core subjects very well but it follows the old tradition with limited industry visits,It can be improved by adding more focusing on real world applications

College Diaries

Placement Experience:

From 3 -1 only students become eligible for campus placement and the companies visited for our college was Jpmorgan,google,microsoft,Infosys capgemini tcs etc.. The highest package in our college was 54 lpa from Microsoft and average packages were 5-10lpa the percentage of getting placements by students is 75% and my plans after getting the degree is to get a good placement in a MNC's.

I would 3 out of 5 because only the basic they thought in every college while getting the job they ask advance concept but I can that the course curriculum has improved now and they are preparing students for further jobs. My campus life and experience

Placement Experience:

Until know i got some info among the placements and internships is that yes, this college is providing campus placements good as some of the recent companies were Infosys, Capgemini,and other companies drive has been conducted in the college for the 4rth years. So the placements are good here no worrys too. But the LPA is less a bit like in the past years as the software industry is getting more hard to get jobs.

There are many companies costing the campus for recruitement like Accenture ,Infosys , keka , Accenture , infor etc and many other startup . They mostly consider students from Cse background but even allow others if they have skills . Accenture and cognisant will hire many students and there pay would be around 5 lakh per year for service roles . If they take for other roles then the salary is more 60-70% people get placed , some prefer doing masters even though they are placed

See yes during my EAPCET councelling I don't know about this cvr college of engineering, its infrastructure, greenary , courses , placements . Were the first college is got is geetanjali college of engineering, but almost after such research I saw that it is not better than cvr college so for the second round i changes and make it to cvr .
