Likes

My experience in this college is very good.
They provide various sports facilities like badminton, table tennis. It has a huge cricket ground.
I liked the faculty. Especially first year C language sir . He is very supportive and he also encourages students to participate in many other fests

Dislikes

Strict rules and regulations. Attendance is mandatory.
Mess food is also not so good.

I choose the Information Technology course because at present time it is in boom And the faculty in CVR college is amazing, they provide extra knowledge in core subjects like c, python, and data structures through c. During exams time they support us in our preparation.

From 6th semester students are eligible for campus placements. Companies like Amazon, Wipro, Infosys, cognizant, Dell, and HP. The highest package offered last year was 40 lakh per annum. more than 80 per cent of students get placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our College provides many internships in companies like Cognizant, Wipro, Infosys, Amazon, etc. They provide very good packages in placements. They provide a stipend for the students who scored good marks in academics.

Campus Life

CVR College has a good infrastructure and a lush green campus. It has a huge library with over 90,000 books. There are many clubs in our college like dance, singing, art, literature, debate etc. Faculty also encourages students to participate in clubs and in fests also.

Admission

I wrote the engineering entrance exam conducted by the Telangana state government called eamcet exam, in that I got a 12109 rank and I am eligible to get into CVR college of engineering in the information technology branch.

Life at RIshi

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placements from year 4. The companies that usually visit are TCS, Capgemini and MMC etc. The college supports students by providing both technical and non technical jobs and any other uncoventinal career support upon request. Good college to join for study

Placement Experience:

So coming to placements they will provide good no. of placements if we have skills and keen of intrest to learn new things and grab oppurtunities. Also our colleg has NACC and NBA accredation there will be more companies approaching our college and taking students for placements and trainging. TP CELL will give its 100% in placements pushes students forward for various trainings and placements. Basically placement starts froms 3-2 mostly form 4-1 where students go to attend interviews and attend exams. companies like Infosys, Wypro, My schools, Infotech, and many MNC's. every year almost 150-200 students will be selected for placements. average package will be 3.0 - 4.5LPA and the highest package is 7.5LPA . their package is decided by companies according to the role they applied and thier level of skill. 45- 50% of the students will be selected for the placements. My plans after getting the degree: If i got selected in placement its well and good i will proceed further with the placement i got incase if didnt get placed i will try of the jobs and then shortly start a business.

College review: Pros, Cons and reality.

Placement Experience:

During 3-1 , we get only one internship i.e JPMC offering 75,000 per month which is of 3-month internship. Thhis year it took around 16 students. through coding round, hire vue interview and the hackathon process. I was selected to hackathon but sadly due to communication skills lack, I was not selected as intern , although I passed coding round, hire vue interview and entered hackathon. From 4-1 onwards we get placement oppurtunities like Deloitte, Chubb, oracle, DE Shaw, etc companies visit and offer good package only.

The placements in our college are very good the highest package which we got in our college this year is around 18 lpa and the lowest package offered is around 3 to 3.5 lpa and the average package is around 4.5 lpa a lot of companies come to our college to conduct the placement drive as we have campus recruitment training from our first year it makes it a bit easier to face the interview some of the companies that visit our college are mandatory cognizant TCS Accenture Infosys Wipro HCL ADP the placement drive starts when you are in your 4th year 1st semester or at the end of your third year second semester

See yes during my EAPCET councelling I don't know about this cvr college of engineering, its infrastructure, greenary , courses , placements . Were the first college is got is geetanjali college of engineering, but almost after such research I saw that it is not better than cvr college so for the second round i changes and make it to cvr .
