About my college

Wasted my investment and my four years of engineering experience. Would have joined a better college. Total unhappy with the way the college functions.

I gave the MHT-CET exam after my HSC. My score was around 116/200. Based on my score, I got in this college through the CAP round. There were no specific interview during admission. I selected this course since i had an interest in it.

I opted for the Electronics and Telecommunications course. Thought it would be a good one, but the course wasn't much up to date. The syllabus was outdated. Older technologies were taught. Course curriculum was poorly managed. Not much focus on practical learning as well. Elective subjects were there at the end of the semester.

No, it was never there, and never would be. The professors never encouraged or gave us an opportunity for any internships.

The placement scenario at our time was too bad. TCS was the only major company which was about to come, but this time they had a pool campus, more trouble. Only few of my batch mates got selected. Teradata was another company which came, but they mostly selected the Comps/IT people only. Companies on sales/marketing came which were nowhere related to our stream.

The event was okay. Nothing much to say. Some small time bands did perform. It was quite a boring festival. The footfall mostly was the college crowd only. The college didn't help much in organising the event.

The fee structure was not quite affordable for everyone. I had to pay around 95k a year, and without any quota/scholarship it was damn high. A poorly maintained College.

Scholarship was only available for the OBC/EBC students. They had a 50% cut in their admission fees. Other than that the students under the minority quota also got scholarship of around 25k a year.

You get no attendance to attend any other extra curricular activity like workshops. And then the teachers trouble you for lack of attendance. Hence its a complete waste.

No idea about any hostels. Stayed at my residence only.

There wasn't any platform for the alumni and I feel no one would love to join the alumni network of this college which is maintained in such a pathetic manner with no real support for the students.

Exams were okay. Unit tests were with a gap of 1.5 months each. Then by the end of the semester we had the submission of the assignments, vivas, and the presentations. Things weren't managed properly. The semester ends with frustration.

The faculty were okayish. The professors were also M.E passout with no much great experience and knowledge. Probably they also had the same experience of our below average education system and were forced to be choose teaching as their profession. Teachers weren't interactive at all. Just teach and go.
