It was the best 3 years of my life

The college boasts of its premium location being at the heart of the tricity i.e. Mohali, chandigarh and zirakpur. Just opposite to our college campus new lake sec - 42 which itself a tourist hub is there, and adjacent to it two more colleges are there. Hostel is as secured as fort knox (so girls u can relax and parents too) and the city is affordable too.

The entrance exam through which I got the admission was NCHMCTJEE, no there wasn't any interview process being held anywhere, I would say I was passionate about cooking and wanted to be a chef.

The course was fully updated in keeping in mind the latest trends being followed in the hospitality sector and sufficient number of practicals were included in the curriculum so as to prepare one for the industry.

Yes the college helped in providing internship, getting our cv updated, and with the core skills to crack the interviews in the process. The experience was just another golden memory of my life.

Placements like every year went amazing this year too, close to 100%. Even many students managed to bag more than two job offers, all top hospitality companies such as the Oberios, taj, leela, ITC, and retail giants such as reliance groups, aditya birla was there. The average package goes beyond 3.5lpa.

It was pretty much affordable compared to private colleges, it was around 50k per sem for academics and then around 20k for hostel per sem.

Yes I was there at the residence 'the boys hostel ofc XD' there were of triple occupancy and at the same time sufficient enough space was there so as not to distress individual's privacy.

Oh yes the practicals we used to have followed by theory lectures, then sessionals each month, and then semester ending exams were sufficient enough to make us quite a bit tired and at the same time interesting enough so that the student just not lost the track of his preparations. Teachers used to encourage and motivate us all throughout the journey, they were extremely supportive and helpful.

The faculty at DR. AMBEDKAR IHM CHANDIGARH was just amazing, they used to teach in a manner that can be easily understandable by all, providing relevant examples from industry, the present trends being followed in the industry nowadays so that makes it an interactive session too.
