Course Curriculum Overview

4

Agriculture Engineer and being from a family which works with agri inputs hence it was my first choice to study. The Ratio is pretty good and the teachers are very helpful, they play sports with students, celebrate festivals, dance, few of them even eat with students in a mess; overall very helpful Highly qualified, well-reputed in the teaching fraternity with many consultancies done to companies, government, etc; Have case-based teaching method in the class.

Internships Opportunities

4

Almost all the companies gave market research no matter what the domain they were; the Average stipend was 25000-35000 while the highest was given by ICICI which was 85000 per month, Amul took around 41 students in Summer internship, banas dairy took 7, ICICI took 5-6, Zetwork took 2, ITC took 6, Emami took 2, Yeas bank took 2, Vedanta took 2, in our batch.

Placement Experience

4.5

Placements happen in January month which is almost the end or mid of the 5th term. 100+ companies visited with approx. 300 offers; FMCG- Amul, ITC, Dabur, Mother Dairy, Ruchi Soya, Godrej, Banas dairy, paper boat, etc; BFSI- ICICI, Axis, HDFC, IDFC, RRB subsidiaries, Yubi, IIFL, Mahindra finance, SarvaGram, Vivrithi capitals and many more, NDDB, Grand Thorton, PwC, EY, Redseer consulting, Satya micro capital, Univia, PI Industries, etc. The Highest was 22.5 lpa by HDFC & average was 15LPA. 100% placement. Working with SarvaGram as Management Trainee.

Fees and Financial Aid

In 2020 fees were 14 lakh, in 2021 it was 15.5 lakh, in 2022 it was around 16 lakh, but the ROI is almost 1 hence it is a good investment to make if you have an interest in the rural side because the urban market is almost at saturation and companies are focusing on rural Inda. There are many scholarships i.e. Tuition fee waivers, Scholarships to top 10 students, Alumni scholarships, Subject topper scholarships/awards, IDFC first bank scholarships, etc. Job that most of our batchmates got like product manager, Sales & marketing, COnsultants, etc.

Campus Life

5

Milaap- alumni meet happens in Feb/march usually, Anand run happens in winter, flashmob happens after January, snagharsh depends on students when they decide, Socio- trailblazer, CEO conclave, Tedex all depending on the students and faculty then they agree to do so. Badminton, TT, Football, Cricket, Volleyball, and many more sports with gym, yoga, punching bag, chess, carrom, pool, etc. for students to interact and play where they are also accompanied by faculties, executive program students.

Profile-based students (Agriculture or allied background) get a 5% advantage in cutoff across the categories i.e. Gen, Obc, SC, ST, Pwd, and further relaxation for female candidates. The process should start a bit early to avoid waiting till the last minute.

Interview Experience

4.5

No GD in 2021 due to covid, but had IRMASAT which was a 30 mcq with no negative marking with 30 mins to time slot with questions from Rural schemes, laws, policies, agriculture policies, etc. Taking about the interview was 20 min starting from my Introduction and major crop of my hometown, avg. rainfall, which crop is famous and why so, 1-2 situation-based questions, what is farm mechanization, is it good or bad followed by any questions I would want them to answer. Very light and easygoing interview. Form filling then shortlisting based on Percentile as per your category, Profile, gender (male/Female) then IRMASAT or WAT (Written ability test), then Interview, then Results, and waitlist movement till the classes begin.

The University is one of the top private universities in India. Ranked 2nd among Best colleges in Gujarat by Times. After reading this article, I searched its official website online and read it's detailed brochure and couldn't stop myself from the application form and the second reason were my grandparents as they live in Gujarat. It asked me to fill all my personal details regarding 12th marksheet scoring 72% and BBA in which I scored 75%. Further I gave CAT exam with 85 percentile. After submitting all these documents I got call from the university accepting my admission.
