Course Curriculum Overview
Good faculties with great class teaching experience. The classes are engaging and some classes keep us more excited while some classes are a bit theoretical and need a bit more attention. Exams are based on what is taught and difficulty level is medium difficult.
Internships Opportunities
I will keep that classified. The company was a well-known Indian company with a decent monthly stipend. I worked as a marketing and sales intern where I did sales planning and worked for the automation of processes.
Placement Experience
The placement figures and the increasing avg placement CTC say it all. But our placement committee works hard for it, and they deserve all the milestones that we have achieved. The batch always gets placed 100%.
Fees and Financial Aid
Costly course for sure, but not for ximb , for all MBA colleges except a few. Opportunities are also very high, with a lot of exposure to case comps, conclaves, and many more exciting things. The mess is also good.
Campus Life
Ximb has a legacy, not culture. The cultural activities along with legacy events have been blended together to create a brand legacy for Ximb. Campus life is full of happening events with little time to understand what's actually going on.
Hostel Facilities
rooms are nice, well ventilated. The hostels are closer and there is one mess only. That's a bit of a bottleneck but we manage it well. 720 people use the mess where food is decent enough to eat without hesitation.
Admission
Cat score was the deciding factor for me but ximb accepts xat, nmat, and its own xgmt scores as well. Further rounds are one on one interviews with college faculties which can be as long as 20 minutes. Then we get selected.
Interview Experience
Yes. There was an interview with the faculty. It was a 3 member panel where the interview started with a brief introduction and continued for roughly 15 minutes. The questions were technical as well as situation based.
