Remarks

The drainage system of our college is very good. There are seniors who helps the juniors to cope up with the studies . The canteen food is expensive. But still the mess food is not as bad as the other colleges as told by my friends.

Entrance Preview

Every year Vit conduct his exam through its own entrance examination known as VITEEE and pronounced as Witty generally held after jee main or we can say in the first week of April for admission in its four campuses-vellore, Chennai, amravati, bhopal

Course Curriculum Overview

Yeah, the course is based on projects and innovative ideas. Also we have fully flexible credit system here. We are eligible to select our own courses during course registration and we are eligible to select our own faculty. if we want to change the faculty we can change it during add and drop link is available after we have attended few classes.

Internships Opportunities

Yes. We have internship course of 20 credits which has to be cleared by each and every students for sitting in an interview and getting a job. The internship experience was quite good and got to know many things about company and industry environment.

Placement Experience

The placement scenario is very nice here and almost 100% student got placed every year except for those who wants to pursue their higher education. Vit has Limca book of records for his highest number of placement in a single day.

We have Gravitas, Technovit ,hackathon, makeathon, vibrance, Rivera, Foss day etc every year.Riveria is 5th biggest cultural events among Indian institution including iit's, nit's and bits pilani.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Generally the fee structure depends on which category you fall in for the first category people it is 640000 for four years and for the second category this and fourth category the fee structure increases drastically

Fees and Financial Aid

Vit provide scholarships for his top 20000 rankers and also they provide loan facility.Also they conduct examination of NPTEL through which they provided schlorships to the students who got the highest marks.

Campus Life

We have many clubs here like Linux club, Android Club, trekking club, health club, photography club . We get the opportunities to explore ourselves through different clubs and different events.

Hostel Facilities

Sharing rooms are mainly available, we can change rooms, mess, through ffcs easily.

No, till now we have not met any alumini of Vit, may be we will get to know them in the third or the last year's of the academics.

Almost every faculty has his/her Ph. D from the foreign universities and with a working experience of more than 7 years. They try to encourage students towards their goals so that they can become good person in the future.

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

Experienced faculties, their constant encouragement to students to participate in seminars, lectures, internships, intercollegiate programs and other research based conferences and activities.
The college had good infrastructure, modern laboratories, smart classrooms, sports facilities and a slate clean campus.
The placement cell, incubation cell, and intellectual property cell of our college are easily approachable and they help in developing our ideas, patenting and registering them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum covers important subjects such as cell biology, microbiology, biochemistry, genetics, immunology, bio processing, principles of chemical engineering, and wr have hands on practice through pur well-equipped laboratory sessions.

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

My bad campus life

Likes

The environment is very good.its very natural atmosphere.
Teaching and facilitys are nice.we can learn very much.
The all facility is near by near .its a good thing.

The management is very bad.they not consider our students.
The fees structure is very different for all students.its too bad.and they decided the fees category is very cheep.
The hostel facility is not good.and also food its very bad.

Actually i like computer jobs. So i selected the course. Its very different one. Mainly programming. But its very interesting and valuable.cse computer science is a very high value course and i have lot of opportunities after completing the course. I.think in this types of course in curriculum they want to include practical sections more than text books.

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester

My insights on Vit Chennai

I applied for very less college.since my cut off was low the possibility of me getting any Anna university affiliated colleges were less. So i wrote entrance exam for Amrita University and Vit. I did get Amrita but felt Vit had better exposure. They were lot of reasons as to why I chose this college. Of most the colleges I searched this had mechanical with specialisation courses. Doing a minor in something will make me a step ahead of every other mechanical engineer. I also compared the curriculum with many institutions,this was far by the best with perfect exposure. They have variety of other non graded courses to help me focus on my hobbies and interest. Their tie ups with many foreign institutions and industries will be an advantage for me if I use it in the right way. Again the only way of getting into Vit is through their entrance exam VITEEE. Since my cut off was low I had to rely on these entrance exams.
