Remarks

College was the best part that happened to me in my life and it enabled me to take my ideas at a greater level and get many opportunities in future

Entrance Preview

Passed mht cet to get into this clg.... there were rounds conducted which included counseling as well as tests were there within the college and then lists were displayed and fortunately i got selected

Course Curriculum Overview

It was totally awesome ... in the first year there wasn't much practicality in studies but after a period of time...got adapted to the environment

Internships Opportunities

Yes we got to know from our seniors about internships during summer or winter vacations which would provide a detailed idea about the current field scenario in the industry

Placement Experience

Approximately 70 percent of the students got placed in the current year itself in which they were in last year and the rest were also placed after some period of time...placement criteria was sixty percent and no live kts

College Events

Technical fests were conducted on a monthly basis where seminars used to be there ...also there were multiple sports events like football cricket carrom and many others during the fest

Fee Structure And Facilities

Though it was a bit high but it was good.... the total fee per year used to be one lakh twenty five thousand per year and all the facilities were quite good

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes the college provided a scholarship of rs 25000 in every regular year to the students... yes i availed it.... the college also used to get some loans for poor students who were unable to afford the feed

Hostel Facilities

No i used to travel from ghatkopar as i live there....yeah some of my friends used to stay there on a shared basis...only ugs were allowed.....the food in hostel was good

Exam Structure

It was very difficult in the beginning to attend all the lectures and sit for practicals regularly...but after sometime we infulged quite positively

Faculty

All are bachelors and phds used to teach us....they were very friendly with us.... our college was our second home and it was fun after a year we all got addicted to it

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement of this college is average, average package is 4.5 lpa most of the students are eligible from semester 7 The companies like Capgemini, Accenture, mind space, LTI, siemens, eclerx ,etc visited to college campus. In recent mind space give place about 12 lpa. Placement percentage is 80 percentage After getting degree my plan is for higher studies.

The moderate college of engineering in pune , with moderate fees and good environment.

Placement Experience:

the placement structure of this college is mainly on the tech branches. the placement varies betweem 3 to 5 lakhs on average, annually but if are choosing core branches like mechanical, civil or electrical or entc then you can expect low from it. College do offers insdustry obesrvation and siteseeing tours. These activities are for core branch students. the companies visited in college are TCS, WIPRO, INFOSYS, for IT sector and core branches companies like BOSCH, ULTRATECH CEMENT, TATA TECHNOLOGIES , do visit for campus recruitment. The highest package was placed by a student of 45 lakhs in 2022 and another student of 22 lakhs. the percentage of placement for 2024 batch was about 70% to 72% for overall placement record. after getting degree i will persue the job in pune and stay updated on ladakh civil job vacancies.

i had seen Companies visiting like Entrata, Airtel, Honeywell etc..... Highest package till now for currently year is 15 lacks. I had also seen students who are doing interships and are placed there only.

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.
