Liked the food and the accomodation they have given a single room for a person
The campus is green everywhere is grass lawn and it is well maintained
The professor and the course curriculum is too good that give the real field experience

Dislikes

Like there is no ac in hostel room and the mess too
Sports facilities are not according the way the iims have

Course Curriculum Overview

It's the number one institute for rural management in India and has a unique curriculum which includes the village fieldwork segment (VFS) and all courses of marketing, finance, operation, consulting and rural science and polity. There are five sections of 60 students in each and different faculty will teach each section. The teaching methods of all facilities are different from each other as they give pre-reading material to students, case studies, live projects, presentations, etc. All the faculties pursued PhD or executive courses from IIM & IIT and any other top private college. There are 6 trimesters in 2 year PGDM -RM Programme. Which first two terms have more credits and are very difficult for students.

Class Size: 300Course Fees: INR 900000 per year

Placement Experience

Campus placement after the fifth semester, Companies -130, Number of offers 431. The Highest package is 26.5 lpa management trainee. Average package 15.5 lpa management trainee 100% placement. I will go for campus placement after my degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure - 895274 (First year), 743226 (2nd year), 4500/- per month mess charges, 20000 for VFS. Scholarship - 20 merit-based scholarships including top 10 male and 10 female students. SC scholarship, ST scholarship, IDFC first bank scholarship, Mirae asset foundation scholarship - 3 students, PM - YASASVI - OBC & Others. Scholarship for disabled students.

Campus Life

Annual fest - MILAAP , JATRA. Classroom - Air conditioned, projector, wifi, microphone, audio-visual system. Sports and extracurriculars - The student activity centre include a GYM, badminton courts, Pool, and table tennis. There is a cricket, football, volleyball, and basketball ground. Clubs - Abhyudaya, Jaivik ,VFS Journal ,iSEC , Arthasya ,Nishadya, Jigyasa, etc. E-journals and Databases i.e. ABI-Inform, EBSCO, JSTOR, CMIE databases and EPW & EPWRF, Sage e-journals, etc.

Hostel Facilities

Room - 1 Table, 2 Chairs, Cupboard, Fan, Tube light, Curtains, Bed, Mattress, Pillow. Meal quality is very good and the menu is prepared with all the dishes of states and with diversity according to students.

Hostel Fee: INR 64172 per year

Eligibility - Graduation with any discipline For applying to IRMA Visit irma.ac.in Application fees are Rs.2000 for general, news, obc And 1000 SC, ST, and DAP The application starts in December Reservation benefits - OBC-27%, EWS-10%, SC -15%, ST- 7.5%. Admission process - Stage 1- Shortlisted on the basis of CAT 2023/XAT 2024/CMAT 2023 score. Stage 2- Online written ability test (OWAT). PI - Personal interview was conducted in online and offline mode as per the choice of candidates. Final selection - A composite score was calculated on the basis of the following weightage- Percentile - 35%, Personal Interview - 35%, OWAT- 5%, Academic -5%(10th-1.5%, 12th-1.5%, Graduation -2%). mentor session every week in this they focus on student's personal growth

Dislikes

area like this based in shale ahmedabad where little rain can stop or affect the transportation

im persuing the colledge not get placed yet our seniour placements started and 30% palcements are done in their 3rd samister and every after 2-3 days someone comes from seniour to give the sweet for their celebartion on placement

Likes

Strong emphasis on real-world, practical applications over just theory.
The daily class timetable is well structured and very student friendly.
Many Clubs for Sports, and Extra Curricular activities.

Dislikes

The on campus drainage system is poor, leading to waterlogging during rains.
The mess lacks experienced cooks to properly preaire non-Gujrati food for students from other staters.
Location is far from city, so significant travel just for basics.

Placement Experience:

Placements of SBS are Good In terms of Long Term Exposure in the Industry. Students become Eligible for Campuse Placements after 5 Semester in SBS. Since I have recently Joined the SBS List of Companies Visted and No of offers they have made are unknown to me.

A great start to my PGDM journey

Likes

I like the friendly and comfortable environment. Here you can interact with students and others
Faculty members are supportive They give us opportunities to interact and ask questions during sessions.
I like the campus and the activities conducted for students They give us opportunities to learn Outside regular classes

Dislikes

One thing that needs to be approved as waterlogging during rainy season because water gets collected around the campus and it gets difficult for the students to move around comfortably, specially for hostel students
Sometimes the schedule can get tiring back-to-back classes in sessions
I feel there should be more space for students in campus during breaks. They can go sit and learn their.

I belong to general category my cat percentile was 91% and I had converted in the first shortlist itself. The application will be released short after the CAT results on Irma website. Cat exam is conducted a year then the application received and cut off is issued and thereafter there is a Online written ability test and Interview which is now conducted offline.
