Course Curriculum Overview

My branch is metallurgical and materials engineering. It is a very interesting branch. The faculty teaches very nicely and iam very lucky to be here to select the branch. All the teachers completed their PhDs and had very intelligent faculty. I have chosen my own as the branch. The exam will be very tough when we won't study anything. but when we understand the concept nothing is difficult. Very easily we can when we use the concept without boarding. and when we prepare and cover the topic everything is very easy

Internships Opportunities

All internships will be started in the first year. And every internship will give its own individual projects. As I am in one internship. most seniors prefer all the opportunities of internships. because we can improve our knowledge

Placement Experience

The percentage of every branch will be highly selected. every branch got 100 per cent in our institute. The companies like Microsoft, tata steel etc.. visited. when come to opportunities very one will get very good

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure will be 12 lakhs on average. and the scholarship opportunities will be high our seniors got a very nice package and they are very good in their graduations. Our college stipend is also very good.

Campus Life

When come to our college very brilliant infrastructure and the availability of books are very nice. The books are very important. It plays a critical role in our life. Abd the classrooms are highly professional and luxury life means Ac will be there and the cleanliness will be good in classrooms. the annual fest is superb, excellent and marvellous.

Admission

I am pursuing a bachelor of technology Jamshedpur.Iam from AP. My hobbies are playing volleyball and shuttle badminton. My extra circular activities are singing. I completed my 10th and 12th in AP social welfare.

Overall Review of NIT Jamshedpur

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum exam ready for students of mechanical engineering it focuses on industrial level exposure and for other competitive exams like gate and IES with good faculty who teaches almost all concepts. There are labs for each subject in which we get real world application knowledge. Also course is updated regularly as per the requirement of industry . The course can we improved by making course more practical rather than a writing all things on practical it should include project for students. Frequency of exam is that in every 15 days there is a exam with moderate to difficult level.

7th Semester students become eligible for placements. The highest package is offered by Rubrik in 2025 of 1.41 CR(domestic) High paying jobs are mostly for SWE/SDE roles. Percentage of students getting placed in CSE/AIML is 75, ECE 69, EEE 60, Mech 58. My plans after gettting degree is to get into job sector only for a while. No such higher education plans as such.

At BIT Mesra third is like full of practice for placements and final year more of placements activities than studies. So, when all these things are in order placements obviously will be more or less certain and here they are certain only with almost 90% students are places through campus with annual placements of 8-10 lakhs per annum.

A Genuine Review

Placement Experience:

From 5th Semester onwards student are eligible for internship but from 7th semester they are allowed to sit in campus. Various companies like PayPal, Wipro , cognizant ,TCS ,Genpact ,Amdocs etc. Highest Package this year is 35 lpa and Average Package is around 7.5 lpa. Around 90% of students from circuital branch and around 80% students from non-circuital branch has been placed so far this year. My plan is prepare very smartly for campus placements and bag a very good PPO from are tech based company.

I applied for NIT Raipur NIT Durgapur and NIT prayagraj I selected this college NIT Jamshedpur because it has top class placement and the branch I was getting as mechanical engineering which is a decent branch. I got rejected from NIT prayagraj due to little less rank . The admission process of my colleges you have to qualify JEE mains with around 95 percentile to get any branch as a general student then you have to go for Josaa counselling in which you will be a lot at the seat . I did choose this college because it is quite old and reputed, being a govt college it has lesser fees and offered good placements, I got IIIT Lucknow as well, but didn't opt for it as it was quite new and didn't have proper hostel and residence facilities at that moment.
