Likes

Campus was good and all the facilities are available in the campus.
Seniors are good and helpful and help in any type of trouble.
Placement are good and package are also good.

Dislikes

The curfew timing of the college are 12 am to 5 am that is not good.
The hostel condition are not good in first and final year.
The administration is so strict and not in students favour some time.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum and faculty are good and you don't face any difficulty in that and some of the faculty are very strict and some are good and friendly in nature and they help you in the course part as well as in other activities.

Internships Opportunities

All the companies like Microsoft, Google, and all come to college for hiring interns and the stipend varies from 10k to 2lac per month some of the internships are not paid they are only experience based.

Placement Experience

The placement come in college in the 8th semister and the placement was good in my college all the companies visit in college and the maximum domestic package given by a company is 50 lac and the average package is 20 lac and the placement percentage is around 80.

Fees and Financial Aid

The per semester course fee is 1 lac and the mess fee is 18k and the hostel and other charges are 15k but college provides you a fee waiver for general and obc if family income is less than 1 lac you got full course fee waiver and between 1 to 5 lac you got 60% fee waiver for SC/ST full fee waiver.

Campus Life

The life is good the campus is good and the clubs are also good we have good clubs and college life and the campus has all the facilities available and the club includes technical and cultural both types.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel is not such good but in the first year you got an amber hostel with double occupancy and in 2nd and 3rd years you got an aquamarine hostel with double occupancy and in 4th and 5th years you got a jasper hostel with single occupancy.

Hostel Fee: INR 30000 per year

To apply for these courses you want to qualify for Jee advanced examination the application form and all details are available on the IIT Dhanbad website yes the cast reservation is there in the admission process.

BIT : A Freshman's Perspective

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to sit for placements from the 7th semester.A variety of companies including TATA Steel, JSL, JPL, Samsung, TCS and ABG visit the campus.The highest package offered is to Mining branch by vedanta which is 16.5 lpa.In core branches like mechanical and electrical the placement percentage reaches to almost 80%.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of our college is quite active and provides internship opportunities and pre-placement offers for students in their third and fourth years. It invites reputed companies like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Accenture, IBM, Intel, Infosys, Cognizant, Deloitte, and many more. The average package is about 12LPA and highest package is about 52 LPA. Branches like CSE offer even higher, lucrative packges.

A Genuine Review

Placement Experience:

From 5th Semester onwards student are eligible for internship but from 7th semester they are allowed to sit in campus. Various companies like PayPal, Wipro , cognizant ,TCS ,Genpact ,Amdocs etc. Highest Package this year is 35 lpa and Average Package is around 7.5 lpa. Around 90% of students from circuital branch and around 80% students from non-circuital branch has been placed so far this year. My plan is prepare very smartly for campus placements and bag a very good PPO from are tech based company.

Students become eligible for internship after 4th semester , after 6th semester the companies start coming for regular placement For cse the average was around 20 lpa with median being 16-17 lpa Companies that generally visit are - atlassian, Amazon, flipkart , BNY Mellon, cisco, Texas Instruments etc Around 140 offers were made and in a batch of 120, 100 have secured placement Placement percentage is around 92% Highest package - 65 lpa atlassian (on campus) 1.23 cr rubrik (off campus) Lowest package - 7 lpa Average - 18 - 20 lpa

The Underrated NIAMT

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible after 6th semester for placement drive. Companies visited are Vedanta, JSW, Mahinda, L&T, Ashok Leyland etc and 95% of students are placed till and still few companies are yet to come. Heighest package offered was by Vedanta of 13.95LPA while lowest was from an ADC Company of 3LPA which makes the median package around 8LPA for metallurgy branch and 7LPA for Mechanical. Every year around 98% of students get placed ( Rest 2% either opt out or any seruius indisciplinary issue ) Planning to get a job first then along with preparation of GATE for PSU.

Placement Experience:

on every occasion they will charge the students, there is no good placement, every year they increase the exam fee, students are not regular its poor then government colleges just pay penalty and your attention will be full, its like correspondence course they are running huge but and regular power cuts unhealthy canteens, political motivated administration and management. There expenditure in infrastructure is huge which is best for love birds its like park or garden. Overall all not dedicated to education.

A two years review of Central University of Jharkhand

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculise fully designed on national education policy 2020. Focuses more on extracurricular activities than core subjects. Because reply is designed on the basis of UGC guidelines which is a good thing for different competitive exams that are design by UGC. I will say semesters are to short that all till now my all four semesters has been glitter in about 4 months each that should be of duration of 6 months.

Must Read before coming to IIT ISM Dhanbad

I had secured AIR 5860 in JEE Advanced, so i had applied for all CSE, ECE, ELECTRICAL, MNC and related branches in Top IITs. For my rank, I got IIT ISM Dhanbad in the last round. I had also got IIT Kharagpur Manufacturing Science, but I choosed to go for furture rounds as i thought doing a circuit branch in IITs is better. I could not make it to colleges that i wanted to as my rank was 5860 and belonging to the GENERAL category, the rank is too high to get into top branches of the top 7 IITS. The admission process is JEE Advanced, Elgibility is that u need to have good rank in JEE Advanced, the rank required varies from branch to branch but i can give you and idea, for our IIT ISM, CSE -> 2000 to 3500, MNC -> 3500 to 4500 , ECE -> 4500 to 6000 and so on....Read More
