Remarks

It's very nice college with great environment and u will grow here for sure...But if it's affordable. This is the best place for the engineers to bring their ideas into reality, college supports everyone in each and every way.

Entrance Preview

BITSAT was the entrence exam . My score was good and I preferred my branch over college so took be from bits. No interview was taken. I was very passionate for core understanding of things around hence preferred Electrical Engineering .

Course Curriculum Overview

Courses were good except some in initial years. I feel it was less focussed but good understanding was needed for open book courses. Yes there were multiple initiatives

Internships Opportunities

Ye, the college itself provides the internship it has contacts with the companies all around the world. The stipend amount which students receive is around 10k, it again depends upon the companies offering the internship.

Placement Experience

Cs/is branch is always good for placement then come E&c and e&i...Don't expect great packages in rest ...But u will have bits tag to rescue, Almost major companies visit the campus such as DELL, HP, GOOGLE etc;

Fee Structure And Facilities

In my time 2010 it was affordable 50k for upper middle class but from then it consistently has increased . I will suggest it's not worth if u r financially week and will be taking non cs/it branch in college.

Nopes ...This is something bits is very good at managing

Academic qualification will good but actual knowledge will differ. There are great faculties which are well known in field and are best mentor ever u can find. But then there are other with very wage knowledge in field. It mostly depends on students from where u should pluck ur flowers.

Placements are good like averages of chemical is 12 lpa and there is good placement percentage ratio like 75 percent and if in case of no placements further study is possible option as bits have connection to many best institues in the world.

BITS Pilani unfiltered: A deep dive into the campus.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible to college placements from 7th semester More than 300 companies visit every year which include MNCs, startups, spread over all major domains like IT, Electronics, consulting, finance, core, product management etc The highest package varies every year but the average stands at around 18-20lpa. more than 90% of the students get placed every year. i plan to build my career in ET industry after my degree.

Bits Goa good or not

Placement Experience:

There is a dept for placements. 70 to 80 percent people get placed woth average package of 20 lakhs per annum. Mostly ot depends on interviews and how good internship you get in 3rd year. Cg plays a very imp role too.

Placement Experience:

I have no clue but the highest placements are in Computer and IT branches. Civil has probably the least placement. The quality is good thanks to IIT and NIT being in the same campus thus the big companies that come to those colleges also come to our colleges but they prefer those students more because NIT and IIT are more prestigious colleges.
