Course Curriculum Overview
BSc IST course is nearly equivalent to Btech course, while a Btech course degree required 4 years, this course will take only 3 years with the completion of graduation with a bachelor's degree, that's the reason I am pursuing this course. There is a 20:128 ratio between teacher & student.
Internships Opportunities
Many companies & IIT institutes give us intership opportunities for helping to get placement in companies, some of internships are paid and some of free with a certificate. Our seniors also help on that.
Placement Experience
After completion of 3rd semester in aggregate 70% of student becomes eligible for campus placement. And many popular companies are conduct placement in our University. They offered nearly 5 LPA per Annum.
Fees and Financial Aid
BSc IST is a self-financing course at Ravenshaw University. This course's annual fee is 30,000/- & college admission fees are 2450/- in total annual cost is 32,450/- rupees for 3 years. There is no stipend facility available for students, only scholarships are available and that comes from State Govt.
Campus Life
At Ravenshaw University many events, and cultural programs are conducted by students, faculty & from departments as per scheduling and take permission from Vice-chancellor. Our College conducts Annual sports every year.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are situated in Ravenshaw Campus, with proper security & managed by hostel wardens, In campus there is both boys & girls hostel are present separately with 24x7 security. there is canteen for hostelers and meals are as per daily scheduling.
Admission
The admission Process is based on a 12th mark basis, the College releases its cutoff percentage. For BSc IST students should take the Science stream in 12th & an aggregate 85% mark required to join this course. Except SC/ST reservation there is no other reservation for take admission in this University.
