Remarks

It was a good experience being there. As I got to learn many things from there. Whatever I am today is because what I got to learn there. I got many good people there which taught me how to handle situations and stay strong. The infrastructure can be improved and the extracurricular activities can be increased and enhanced for sure, everything else is good. The college campus is quite huge and spacious. I got to learn many things from there. I got many good friends and teachers there. The library is also good and has a good collection of books.

Entrance Preview

There was cut off lists and the admissions was on merit basis but I did not write any entrance exam for the admission because i got admission very late but yes there was management quota and i got admission through the management quota. I always wanted to pursue the course what i did . I had the same subjects in my +2 stream and I wanted to learn the subjects further that's why I chose the course what i did.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course was very good. I got to learn the further knowledge about the subjects what i learnt in school. I was always keen to learn the subjects and getting the knowledge of the subjects. Practical learning was also there. There we used to have industrial visits and from time to time the college invited many writers and knowledgeable people of our stream so that we could communicate with them and decide what we want to do further.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, the college provides for the internship but the internships are usually for some kind of NGOs so they do not pay any stipend, but yes they provide a very nice ambience and expirience to students. My experience was very good with the NGO as I got to spend time with expirienced people and got to learn many things from them. They used to share there expiriences with us

Placement Experience

4

Placement scenerio was quite well. Many companies visited the campus for different courses. And a good percentage of students got placed. But I do not have detailed information about which companies visited because I did not applied for any job openings as I was clear that I want pursue further studies and I was not interested in getting a job.

College Events

There we used to have annual fests in college as well as cultural fests. All the students from our college used to attend the fest and people from different colleges also used to come and enjoy our fest.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee was Rs.20000 per annum. Yes, The fee structure was quite affordable for all groups of societies.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, there was scholarship programs in college for the meritorious students. The top 3 students from the college every year used to get to study for free. And there was also programs available to help students who belongs to economically weaker sections.

Campus Life

4

There were many extracurricular activities in the college. Many sports and activities like dance and drama societies were there in the college.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

No, there were no hostel facilities in the college campus. But yes, the PGs are available in nearby localities at affordable prices. My friends used to reside in PGs so i have some knowledge about that.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni Network is not there in college. If one wants to communicate with their seniors or juniors then they can do it on their own bit the college did not provide any such opportunity.

Exam Structure

No. Exams were not very frequent. We had semester system so we used to have exams in interval of every 6 months and internal assessments were also there which also used to take place in every 6 months. There were no labs for our course. All in all It was a chill culture.

Faculty

5

The faculty is very much qualified and expirienced as well. They are all veteran teachers who have expirience of at least 10 years. They are all very well qualified in their subjects from various famous universities from all over the India.

Course Curriculum Overview:

i have always shown interest in psychology and this was a force which pulled me here to study psychology. i would suggest some aspects of improvement like more real life study instead of just learning stuffs from the book. real life experinces and situations makes a student to connect and understand those topic more clearly. practical subject examination are of about 50 marks 2 papers and non practical subject of 70 marks 2 set of paoer each. i have also given an internal examination of around 25 marks for pract and 30 for non pract 1hr exam. sem exam of 2 hr each paper

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'm from humanities background so the course is quite relevant for me. The course is quite outdated however it's the same for most of the universities. the curriculum should be aligned with the competitive exams and the teaching methods should be more inclusive about the competitive exams so that the student can prepare well not only for the present course but also further upcoming exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because i was always inclined towards economics as a subject as well as real life application of it. The specific aspects of curriculum which influenced my decision of choosing this course were the integrated syllabus and practical knowledge being imparted in this. It helps me to analyse data and understand real world problem from a broader horizon which wouldn't have been possible otherwise. Even though there isnt any improvement needed since the faculty itself is extremely focused as to impart the best of their knowledge to us and is very well trained and supportive. The frequency of the exams is twice a year(2 set of semester exams and 2 sets of sessional exams within each year) timing of the exam is 2.5 hour for semester exam of each subject and 1 hour for sessional which are of 70 marks and 30 marks respectively. The difficulty level of the exams is moderate, if a student attends regular classes they would easily qualify the exams with a good grade and CGPA.
