My experience with KITS

I'm interested in Computer Science. So I have chosen the CSE course. The classroom size is 63-70. One class teacher is allotted to every class throughout the semester. Around 2500-3000 students and 150-200 working faculty. So the ratio is round 1:12. All Branch HODs are professors and the subject faculties are Assistant Professors as well as Professors. 2 mid examinations as internals and one external public examination of all subjects will be conducted every 6 months(one semester). The knowledge gained in the classes is enough to pass the examinations.

Vodafone with 4LPA offered an intership in the final year. And some students attended online paid internships to get the working experience before joining employment. The final year project in the curriculum helps students get knowledge and master various technologies at a time.

After 3rd year 1st semester(3-1) the students can attend off-campus companies. Whereas the on-campus placements will be after the completion of 3-2 semesters. Around 400 students(70%) get placed every year. The Multi-National Companies(MNCs) as well as non MNCs, startups will offer employment visiting our college. The 2019-2023 batch got 9LPA as the highest package and 3LPA as the lowest package. The companies named Infor, Apps Associates, TCS, Efftronics, Hexaware, Clarivate Analytics and Wiley Edge offered a package above 5LPA.

If we got in counselling then the government will pay the entire fee for all fee reimbursement-eligible students, else the student itself needs to pay the entire fee to the college under the management category. Almost 60-70% of the students will get placed in campus placements with a package of 3-9 LPA. The highest package offered for a 2018-2022 batch student of our college is 17LPA and in the 2019-2023 batch two students got placed with 9LPA.

The events like fest and farewells will be conducted between February and April. Technical events like coding competitions, hackathons, boot camps, training and trending technology awareness meetings will be frequently conducted irrespective of the month. The library contains books needed for all branches. At least 1hr will be allocated as Library hours every week. Also, it is digitalized with computers, so students can refer to books as well as the Internet. The classrooms are fully air-conditioned. Weekly 1hr will be assigned for sports and different grounds for girls and boys, and sports events will be conducted as well.

I applied to this college through AP Eamcet Counseling with Eamcet Rank around 20k. Through the counselling process, I got ECE but in the second counselling the got CSE. What I can say is, the eligibility was around 17K Rank for the first counselling in 2019 Admission time. The admission process is simple with document submission within the college.
