Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

It's my dream to serve treatment to people to cure diseases so from early childhood I want to become a doctor that's why I choose these courses. Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They are very skilled and supportive. They have a very unique level of teaching. Our teacher motivates us. The course curriculum is relevant. It makes the students industry-ready. Semester exams are tough and competitive. The pass percentage is about 80% to 90%. There are 3 semesters held each year, and we also have a final-year exam. Students need to work very hard. The syllabus is too vast. The internships offered are good.

Internships Opportunities

5

The internship is available on campus in the college hospital. It lasts for 12 months in various departments of the hospital. It provides an important experience that can be applied in a clinical setting, and further on in our careers as a medical professional. Our stipend is around 25000-30000 INR monthly at present which is a decent amount at our age. After the internship, we can go for housestaffship which lasts for 6 months. It can be extended to 12 months in the same or different department. We get our permanent registration number for clinical practice after the internship ends.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship or financial assistance exists for certain reserved candidates and students of the EWS quota. During the Internship, which extends for 12 months we do receive a stipend of around 28000 INR monthly. The internship is available on campus in the college hospital. Campus Life

5

Two fests are held every year, namely Roshnai which is the intra-college fest, and Spandan which has performances by renowned artists of India. They are traditionally held in September. Books of all major authors are available in the college library and monthly journals are updated on an almost regular basis. Classrooms or lecture theatres as they are called in medical colleges have overhead projectors and surround sound systems and are fully air-conditioned. They are made to have a gallery-like seating arrangement to allow even the backbench students clearly see the boards and projected screens. Our campus has a large ground, which usually is the place for all kinds of sports including football, cricket, volleyball, etc. There is a badminton court as well in addition to a gym room and TT room. Cricket, football, badminton, and volleyball tournaments are held once a year according to the suitability of the students, while TT and chess tournaments are held during fests.

Admission

Eligibility is 12 passes + have to clear the exam NEET. Application forms are available online when the form is released or you can go to the Syber Cafe to fill out the form. Application fees for general candidates are Rs 1700 and for General-EWS/ OBC-NCL fees are Rs 1600 and for SC/ST/PH/Third gender Candidates' fees are Rs 1000 and for Centres outside India fee is Rs 9500. And application date also is mentioned by nta. The seats under the 15% AIQ scheme will be allotted through NEET-UG reservation criteria. According to me, the admission process is very satisfactory.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well, mbbs is very hard and long term process. You will be bored in 1st year because you cant get real clinical cases. But in Final year, 3rd Prof Part 2, you will get huge pressure. Because there are total 11 subjects, you should study in final year. It is a great burden for all. I'm not satisfied with Nmc curriculum. They are not thinking about students. They are implement their rules in chilled ac room. But they don't know the real scenarios.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is very noble. It gives us the power to heal others. When I was a child, i was impressed by the ability and skills of a doctor. The patient family were treating him like god. So i decided to pursue it because of the amount of respect and wealth we gain. In the real world it helps us to become a good person, interact with the injured society and connect to the people emotionally. Teaching methods could be improved by giving more and more real life examples and exposing to the wards and clinics. Learning is more fun when we do more practicals. The college must ensure that more and more practical classes and clinical exposure is given to the students so that they can learn effeciently. The cases of the cirriculum should be given to the students to look how they handle it.

The concept of education is misunderstood my many students. Students want to study in order to make money and become rich so that they can fulfill their wants. Similarly money is invested by parents in terms of the amount of investment it will reap in the future. Because of this reason females are not given much higher education in our country.
