Course Curriculum Overview
I would like to say that the Faculty-student ratio is good, qualification of every professor is great, but as we say, not every professor teaches perfectly, some of them are great and while others are so-so. Exams are taken timely, academic pressure is 3.5/5, and they can be tough to pass at times.
Placement Experience
From 3rd year itself, if some student does well enough, they can get campus placements, otherwise, 4th year is the year for placements. A huge number of companies come here for placements such as Amazon, etc. Almost every branch gets around 99-100 per cent placed
Fees and Financial Aid
Since this is a government institute, fees are not as much as compared to other colleges, it's affordable for most. Government Scholarship schemes are available, most of my colleagues took scholarships, while I myself took a scholarship from tata steel as my father works in the company. I'm in 3rd year right now and good internships will be available soon enough.
Campus Life
Life at the campus is exciting, mostly the senior junior bonds are fun, and there are a lot of fests and tech fests annually, rangmanch, dandia nights, and big fests such as urja and culfest. Plenty of books are available in the library, and it's fun to go there and read in privacy and peace. Sports is another pretty exciting thing here in this institute. The main building is a treat to the eyes, the infrastructure is very good, and the classrooms are very comfortable and cool. Many social groups and tech groups are there in our college, such as Faces, innoreva, etc.
Hostel Facilities
First-year students are given two occupancy rooms, it's really fun, as the hostel is very good, and the rooms are also of great quality. Starting from 2nd year to the last every student gets a single room. There are different buildings for every year, hostel j for 3rd, k for 2nd and like this other building for phd and 4th-year hostels. Enough facilities and quality of the hostel rooms and washrooms, bathrooms. Meal quality is also good
Admission
I had appeared in jee mains and scored 85 percentile marks which led me to surpass my cutoff as per my category. I applied to Jossaa and selected the course and colleges based on my knowledge of the cutoff and my personal opinions.
