Remarks

Don’t join. I feel that I wasted four precious years of my life gaining no practical experience whatsoever.

Entrance Preview

I had to give the common MH-CET exam. There was no specific interview for admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

I had opted for the Electronics and Telecommunication program. The infrastructure is very poor. The staff and teachers are clueless of their work. I was forced to do a project in my final year which I did not wish to, however I still took up the challenge and did it. I was graded the lowest in my class.

Internships Opportunities

There is no such thing in our college. Even if there was, we wouldn’t be allowed for it anyway.

Placements are pathetic! There was TCS rumored to come, however, we were forced to sit for pool campus. The company I got selected in, Praxis, wanted graduates. I still do not know why they would come to an engineering college in search for graduates. Lastly, even after signing for the companies without any criteria, my name was never on the list. Probably because of partial TPO.

College Events

Events are okayish. Girls and boys are made to dance separately for the DJ night, you can concur the rest.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is affordable for sure. Without any quota/waiver I had to pay around a lac per year. However, it is not worth it. I should have opted for a better college.

Scholarship is only given to reserved category or minorities.

Campus Life

You get no attendance for extra-curricular so no one really bothers.

Alumni/Alumna

Everyone is happy just to leave the college. No one really wants to come back, even as an alumni.

Faculty

Faculty is as clueless as the students. They have been through the same education system, probably hail from worse colleges.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement of this college is average, average package is 4.5 lpa most of the students are eligible from semester 7 The companies like Capgemini, Accenture, mind space, LTI, siemens, eclerx ,etc visited to college campus. In recent mind space give place about 12 lpa. Placement percentage is 80 percentage After getting degree my plan is for higher studies.

The moderate college of engineering in pune , with moderate fees and good environment.

Placement Experience:

the placement structure of this college is mainly on the tech branches. the placement varies betweem 3 to 5 lakhs on average, annually but if are choosing core branches like mechanical, civil or electrical or entc then you can expect low from it. College do offers insdustry obesrvation and siteseeing tours. These activities are for core branch students. the companies visited in college are TCS, WIPRO, INFOSYS, for IT sector and core branches companies like BOSCH, ULTRATECH CEMENT, TATA TECHNOLOGIES , do visit for campus recruitment. The highest package was placed by a student of 45 lakhs in 2022 and another student of 22 lakhs. the percentage of placement for 2024 batch was about 70% to 72% for overall placement record. after getting degree i will persue the job in pune and stay updated on ladakh civil job vacancies.

i had seen Companies visiting like Entrata, Airtel, Honeywell etc..... Highest package till now for currently year is 15 lacks. I had also seen students who are doing interships and are placed there only.

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.
