Course Curriculum Overview
Mechanical engineering provides a wide range of carrier opportunities whether it is in field of private sector or the government sector. Also, we get plenty of time for our side hustle and hobbies. The faculty and students ratio is 1:30. Faculty members are mostly Mtech and Ph.D. No faculty members in mechanical is more than sufficient. Due to COVID, there is a course delay in the 2nd and 3rd years but the 2022 session was going on track. Beu takes the examination on time.
Internships Opportunities
Tata, sail, and ONGC provide internships. If you want then you can try to get an internship from outside the college like Geeks for Geerks, Google, Microsoft, etc. Also, you can go for Tata curable, ntpc khalgon also provides an internship.
Placement Experience
My college gives me enough time to prepare for other exams like upse and gate. Also, placement is on an average is 300000/yr which is average. The highest placement of 2021 is 35,00,000 it's not at all a campus placement. But you have the opportunity to explore outside.
Fees and Financial Aid
At the start of every financial year, we have to submit approx rs 4,000 as re-admission, generator, and other fees. After that for every semester, we have to fill exam form of Rs 3,700. Total of Rs 11,000 approx. Also, colleges provide so many scholarships mainly Pragati scholarships for girls. Also, you can teach students of the school for financial assistance.
Campus Life
On-campus life is almost good as compared to other Bihar engineering colleges. The library has plenty of books. we have an indoor stadium too which accelerates students to pursue their hobbies, we have a gym too. There are fests in a year- Sports fest, Technical and cultural fest known as technoriti. There are many clubs some of which are the hurdang club, debug club, campus tc, radio, and euros for robotics.
Hostel Facilities
There are 7 boys hostel and 2 girls hostel- Hostel fees:-11000/yr, Mess fees:-25000/yr. The meal is of average level. From the 2nd year, you will get a single room for girls. The registration process is easy. we have to meet the hostel in charge.
Admission
Admission was done through jee mains percentile. we need to fill up the bcece counseling form. bcece will create its rank list according to jee percentile. my admission process was too smooth. my college provides admission in five courses, me, ee, ece, and cse. there were two rounds and one mop-up round. cutoff for the mechanical engineering branch in bce varies from 82-85 percentile and for computer science and engineering it varies from 90-92 percentile for the general category. Application fees:- 1000. Application date:- August.
