Remarks

Yes there is a good or bad remark. First bad remark is strict college if you done any misbehave then you directly detain.and also fulfill '75% attendance . And good remark is infinite can't define. In my college all students are very good personality. I feel all time good when I'm in foyer.

Entrance Preview

There is not required any entrance exam. If you have good aggregate in 12th and good marks in gujcet then admission get easily but some departments like IT ,EC to get Admission you require very high aggregate.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I'm selecting civil engineering. In civil engineering there is huge scope in job. Generally placement are less but outside you get good job with good salary. In my colloge all machines and practical instruments available.

Internships Opportunities

Yes internship doing 1 time in whole graduation program. But not paid stipend and internship was only 2-3 week.

Placement Experience

Here 7 engineering branch available. And each branch has 60 seat. And every year placement was near 330-370. Here placement ratio is high.

College Events

Every month has something new event. Technical event.non technical events .every year celebrate annual day.main tech fest imaze.navaratri, holi there celebrate many festival and days

Fee Structure And Facilities

It's quite expensive. Current fees 1,35,000/-. These college is oldest self financed institute. That because they increase there facilities with fees. Hostel fees around 30000 per annum. Food monthly bill around 1500 per one time.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes cvm trust provide every year scholarship. Top 3 students get 50,000/- and also getting scholarship from other trust and government scholarship.

Hostel Facilities

College Hostel is to bad and expensive. But outside the college and middle of city getting pg is very cheap and full facilities and here's food is two awesome. In 3 years I gain 12 kg

Exam Structure

No also enjoy in every labs and practical and exam. Because faculty always understand your situation. Never fill like bore.

Faculty

4.5

All faculty are from reputed colloge like iit, nit. All faculty behave very friendly to the students. They have very good knowledge.

PDEU , a Sweet n' Sour experience

Likes

The campus is really well built and has good classrooms with air conditioners in every class ensuring student comfort.in
Decent facilities for extra curricular activities like sports and metro connectivity as well.

Dislikes

Same old rigid curriculum that is still being taught in Tier 3 engineering colleges through out the country
Some of the faculty even though they may be knowledgeable themselves, fail to deliver their thoughts in an efficient way to the students
Attendance criteria is relatively strict at around 80% on paper but you can still do with 70+ percentage.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 7th Semester and companies start visiting at that time. The no. of companies that visit are around 30+ and the highest package offered last time was around 25+ LPA. The average package is 7-8LPA. Some of the companies that visit are Accenture,TCS, Infosys, JP Morgan(students got placed from a Hackathon)

Likes

The campus view is awesome we all will see new things everytime and it feels fresh at the morning.
The personal development of particular students have been in focus of every faculty which is awesome.
The behaviour towards students of every professor is the best all are understanding and calm towards students.

Dislikes

There is a system of gate pass means whenever u need to go out of main gate with the permission we are not allowed to go.
In hostel the washrooms are not so clean for the students with common washroom hostel
The mess food are boring sometimes and the food of the food seems to be same everytime

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I have a great interest in coding and this field is based on coding so i choosed the computer field. -The curriculum of the college are based on the things which will help us in future for real world application. -The way they i based on pdf means they make a full note of a subject in pdf and explain that and which makes clear to us so I don't think they should change. -There is a enough time to study for exams it depends on us how me manage it and the difficulty level is medium it is based on what we have understood till now in studies we have studied.

Campus life is really good, there are food courts, playground, libraries avaliable.
The whole campus has wifi avaliable, they've got atm too.

Dislikes

there are quite a few restrictions like no roaming allowed after 9:30pm.
mess food is not so good, its managable but sometimes it feels miserable
for every small thing to be done, lots of paperwork is required whether you need to go outside the campus or needs a NOC

Placement Experience:

in my unversity, proper placements usually start from 7th sem, however after 4th sem, the collage provides the opputunity to go for impact traning if youve got more than 60% in your 10th, 12th and throughtout the semesters from that traning top permorning student get a chance to sit for product-based companies. as of now (jan 2026), the highest placement recorded is 60lpa at microsoft, the average is aroudn 3.5 lps to 6 lpa, most of the recruiting companies are service based such as capgemini, infosys, tcs etc. around 200-250 students gets palce after heavy filtering, i plan to go for higher studies,

Overview of G H Patel College of Engineering and Technology

I did not apply to any other colleges as I wanted to go for Mechatronics engineering and not many colleges in Gujarat provided that course during my admission time. The other option was Parul University which I did not want to go to because of the negative academic reviews of the said university. G H Patel College of Engineering and Technology however, had a good reputation based on their academic and hi-tech practicality which made me surely want to choose this college for my education. The admission process was very easy as I went through the final round of the admission process of ACPC. I was immediately accepted and the paper work and the formalities were carried out by the administration department very smoothly. There were no said external entrance exams for the said course and the result for the 12th board was the only thing that was required. The orientation and campus tour was also provided on the day of admission itself which made it easier for me to understand the layout of the campus and also meeting the few faculty members was very insightful on the first day itself....Read More
