I chose this course because my jee rank was a bit lower than expected. The faculty: student ratio is 15:1. The faculty is reasonably qualified and knows the subject they teach. They also clear the doubts of students. The exams are taken regularly. It is very easy to just pass any exam in this institute but it is a bit more difficult if you want to get good grades or a good cgpa.

Many companies come here to provide students with internship opportunities. In the electrical branch Schnieder, siemens, Samsung, Adani, hp, provide internships. For analytics affine, EXL, and sigmoid are some of the companies that give internship opportunities.

Placements are great in this college. It is among the top NITs when it comes to placements. Almost all students get places after coming to this college. The training and placement cell and the quality of students are great here.

For general category students, the fee is 7 to 8 lakhs. Fee remission is also active in this institute. For students with an annual family income between 1 and 5 lacks, 2/3rd tuition fee is remission and for students with an annual family income below 1 lakh, the full tuition fee is remission. Many scholarships are also active here for minority-status students, etc which can also be availed here for eligible students.

The annual cultural fest is known as Culfest which is held in the month of February and the annual tech and management fest is known as Ojass. There are a great number of books in the mega library of the institute. The classrooms are big and modern and contain all the necessary amenities such as speakers and projectors. Many different sports including hockey. basketball, cricket, football, tennis, etc are played with regular competitions and induction in the sports team. A sports fest is also organized here known as Urja. The campus is bustling with activities of cultural, sports and technical importance.

You have to give Joint Entrance Exam - Mains and clear the cutoff rank for this college . Then you have to sit in josaa counselling. The general closing rank for open state students in Jossa counselling was 22092. The application form could be easily availed on the official site of jee mains. After josaa there is another counselling process known as csab round. The students of obc, sc ,st category get special seats reserved for them . There is also reservation for female and home state students. The improvement that I want to see in the counselling process is lesser time taken to complete counselling. Also documents are required in every step of admission process. There should be a single database which the different departments could share.
