Course Curriculum Overview
Always wanted to pursue a bachelor's degree from a recognised government college. The faculty: student ratio is 1:20. The strength of the faculty is around 130. Most faculties here are PhD holders and some have done their masters from prestigious institutes like IITs and NITs. Their teaching method is above average. Most of the faculty here is friendly and cooperative. We have our end-sems in May and December. It's easy to pass exams here and if studied for even a month before the exams you can easily get a cgpa of above 8.5.
Placement Experience
Students usually become get eligible from the 7th semester for campus placements. A total of 55 companies participated in the campus recruitment program in 2022 and 951 offers have been made. Some of the companies are Accenture, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, virtusa, Persistent, Honeywell, Byju's, etc. The highest package was INR 1.0 crore which was off-campus in Prime labs ltd, USA. Packages offered depend upon the companies. The total intake of student in the 2022 batch were 990 and 760 were placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tuition fees are dynamic here and get increased every year by some percentage. The cost to study here is around 350000(provided you don't come under any scheme of government). Scholarships we can avail of our post metric scholarship, medhavi chatra scholarship, etc. And luckily if you get a TFW seat you don't have to pay any tuition fees till your graduation. Most of the companies that visit campus are service based. The average salary package here is decent and is around 5 lacs per annum. You will find sufficient opportunities here to jumpstart your career
Campus Life
We don't have many fests here at MITS. Fest which was organised in 2022 were Cenarious 2.0 in May and a technical fest Aavriti 3.0 in April. The coolest place here is The Library and canteen. The class size here is good and can easily accommodate more than 100 students. Labs are well equipped and most importantly Professors are supportive and focus more on practical knowledge. We have inter-branch competition in almost every sport. You will see an ample amount of curricular activities and events being organised by different clubs throughout the year. Some clubs are hhc, art club, Rashtraay, Asimov, etc. A popular Social group is mits student union.
Admission
Candidates must have passed in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics from a recognized board. MITS Gwalior accepts BTech admission on the basis of JEE Mains score followed by DTE MP counselling.
