Remarks
The campus is good, in south Mumbai it has a big campus. Parking for two wheeler available. Infrastructure requires to be improved. College canteen also should be improved.
Entrance Preview
To join this college i gave the MHT-CET exam. Scored 90/200 and got admission by the muslim minority quota. Basically there are 50% seats available under the muslim minority quota. The admission process was completely based on your score. No interview and any other processes. I choosed the course because i wanted to excel in networking and similar field.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course was good. It gave you a knowledge on basic coding by c++, java. Then comes the analog and digital circuits and systems. By the end you to go learn on different types of communication and image processing technology. The focus on practical learning was okay, basically followed the Mumbai University guidelines.
Internships Opportunities
No the college dint provide any internships, but the faculty members do help us with different options to join as per our interests. The stipend amount wasnt much, around 1k average.
Placement Experience
The placement scenario wasnt much upto the mark. Due to slowdown in placement scenario, not much companies turn up. TCS was the major company which recruited a large number of students. Other than that Teradata was there, and some other mid scale companies came up to hire from their respective branch. The average package was around 3-4lakh.
College Events
The fests were awesome. Many technical n and cultural fests did take place. Theres also a seperate fest on sports, where you can play different sports in the campus. Many students do turn up, generally its a 5 day event. The college did provide a lot of help for the festival to take place.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure was around ₹85k-95k per year, varying. Approximately around 3.8 lacks.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes the college did provide scholarship. It was the state government scholarship for different religions. Every year a sum of 25k was refunded back to students who avail it. No the college dint help in getting loans, all was by you.
Campus Life
There wasn't much extracurricular activities available. Mostly seminars from industry people used to take place. And some workshops ob coding, robotics were held.
Hostel Facilities
My House was nearby so dint require to stay in hostels. But knew about the hostel through friends, rooms and food quality was 50-50 u can say. Mostly there were shared rooms. Cost was affordable. Food quality average.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumini network was good. The interaction with the seniors was really helpful for the project work and stuff. There wasn't much proper platform, but still it was good.
Exam Structure
No the exams and labs were not much. 2 unit tests and one semester exam, per semester. One lab was conducted everyday for an hour. That's it. It was a mix of studies and a fun culture.
Faculty
The faculty we had was good. Some professors were M.E/M.tech graduate and some had PHD in their respective fields. The professor/student interaction was not much, but okay. The standard of teaching was also good.
