I liked the concept of digital library, where softcopies of books are provided along with the labs.
Also the games like football, volleyball, cricket, basketball.
Coding events, art exhibition, placement activities.

Course Curriculum Overview

I like computer programming and there are a lot of career opportunities there. The faculty-student ratio is amazing and very interactive. They provide awesome guidance. It is not that much difficult to pass but yes, we have to study.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 110000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

For the general category, it is 110000. There are special reserved seats for the Jain minority. No scholarships on campus. But got a Mahadbt scholarship as 50% off. The fee structure is a little expensive but according to the college's facility, it is okay.

Campus Life

There are a lot of events organized on campus. they promote students to take part in events that will encourage student's confidence. Library and digital libraries are also present. Sports is also one of the best parts of the campus.

Admission

CET score should be greater than 90% for the general category. We have to go to the college for the application process. No reservations benefits as I am from the general category. It will be better if the admission process will be kept online. It will be easy for all the students.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus.
