Facts about CKB Commerce College, Jorhat

The course curriculum is quite good with good faculty members. I choose this course as I wanted to go for a bachelor's degree in commerce and this College is the most famous for the same in my District. The faculty: student ratio is 1:6 where the qualification of the faculty is mostly Ph.D. holders. The examination process is once every 6 months and the difficulty level is 6 for 10 on a scale of 10.

Only internships offered here are which are found by oneself on their own. The college doesn't provide any. Many people do their internship through LinkedIn while the college doesn't offer any from their side, Some also opt for local firms where they work contractually like in RRL, NRL, etc.

Campus Placement- from 5th semester. Companies visited- ICICI, Kotak, Techno India, etc. Offers made- 1 for every 100 students, Package-2- 6LPA, Percentage of placement- 1%, Plans - Build my career in Hum, and Resource Management and be a valuable asset for a company.

The current pricing schedule has 6 semesters and ranges from rs.3000 to 4000 per semester. There are numerous scholarships offered here while the main focal point is the UGC scholarship. Placement opportunities are limited where 1 student out of 100 is placed.

There is no annual fest, only college week for sports in the month of January. There are Most of the boobs needed available in the library. There are many sports activities such as badminton, football, and cricket available and the college mainly has available spots for indoor games. There are some clubs for the welfare of the students the main being AASU- All Assam Student Union.

The eligibility is that one has to get at least 40% in their 12th and has to be in Commerce stream. The application form, fees, and dates are found in the application prospectus. Also, the college has an official website where these can be found. For people in the reservation, people like SC and ST have no fees needed to be paid and they need to pay 40% less in admission fees. Also, the admission process is totally offline which should become both offline and online.
