Dhemaji Commerce College was established in 1982. It is affiliated to Dibrugarh University. Dhemaji Commerce College is the only the oldest Premiere commerce education institution in the district. This co-educational institution along with Commerce faculty started Arts faculty in 1990 and now it imparts education in the Higher Secondary and Degree level including major subjects both in Commerce and Arts stream. The college offers major (honours) courses almost in all customary subjects in the Arts and Commerce stream. The College has been accredited by NAAC with C++ Grade.
