No. But sometimes, we feel that the marks are not given according to yhe capability of the student. i am not talking about myself but there are many students who deserve a good score according to their class interaction with teachers

Entrance Preview

I had graduated in English literature and i would like to go for teaching line in the same subject. I had cleared an interview in order to get into the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

Amity provides you with umpteen subsidiary courses. A lot of research work is to be done, though it becomes a little too much sometimes.

Internships Opportunities

No. But we keep submitting our non-teaching credit course papers under which are supposed to do our own research works.

Placement Experience

As far as what i have heard, there isn't any placement assistance for us. It is very disappointing. But for other courses like MBA it's very good

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is something worth giving a notice. One has to keep everything secondary keeping in mind the fee structure.

Campus Life

It's great. We get opportunities to follow our passions during the sports meet and fest. My college experience has been really good. You get exposed to a different culture and get to know about a lot of things.

Hostel Facilities

Sharing basis but for the food you have to spend extra money which is not fair for the students residing in hostel.

External Expense: Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Yes the college does provide a platform for student-alumni interaction

Exam Structure

A bit tired but it's fine.

Faculty

The faculty is great apart from some. Some of the teachers are highly knowledgeable but some are not up to the mark

Course Curriculum Overview:

The only specific aspect of choosing this curriculum is I wanna go in a teaching position . I'm doing masters in sociology and it's really help me to prepare well for my future job. In my college the teaching methods is quie good for me and in my perspective the frequency and difficulty levels of exam is not excessive.

Placement Experience:

Placement are not apt as the cirricullum is. but 3-6 lakh per annum package is average you can expect from Amity University. Almost 20 % student get placed in my couse , I can't say of other courses. I plan to work on counselling part and explore opportunities.

Life at JT Girls Degree College

Course Curriculum Overview:

Since I wanted to become an English Professor, the course really helped me a lot in getting an insight into English Literature. The professors are very encouraging. The curriculum not only relies on the traditional method of teaching but also various co curricular activities are conducted to prepare the students for the real world. Each student is given an opportunity to prove herself. As the exams are conducted annually we get a lot of time to prepare accordingly.

Overall this college is a good choice over other colleges if you're not getting main campus

Course Curriculum Overview:

Economics is a very good and a very interesting subject. The curriculum over here focuses from basic to advance level . It starts its syllabus from basic micro and cover almost every field of economics. The curriculum try to give application in real world by adding dissertations, field surveys in syllabus. There are 4 semester in master and in every semester there is an end semester exam (that is of 70) and mid semester exam (that is of 30 marks) . The exam is mostly moderate .

I actually chosed tgis college as the exposure was pretty good. But the major part of me for choosing this college is because I was denied by my parents to learn animation as that was my first preference. AMITY UNIVERSITY - GUIDE 101 FOR B.TECH

I applied to SRM chennai and got the admission letter. but i had to choose AMITY because of lack of hostel accommodation in SRM for female students. When i got there they told me they had 0 rooms for so many students. I did not get a rejection, i had to reject SRM because of lack of hospitality for North Indian people at the reception desk. Admission process for Amity is quite moderate, you have to have 70% aggregate in PCM to apply for BTECH, and the students have to go through an interview round to get an admission letter based o nthe interview...Read More
