My course name is M.A. Master's of sociology studies about society in a scientific way, I choose this course because learn about our society in a scientific way, rules, methods, and all. In my faculty only 34 students, My faculty teachers and other members are very talented in good methods of teaching. And qualification Ph.D. and highly course qualified. Exams are difficult but you study your professor's lectures moderately not hard and not easy so that The daily study you can do it.

Class Size: 34Course Fees: INR 16000 per year

Placement Experience

Yes, 3 semester is eligible for placement in my college campuses, not my departments, in other departments in monthly campus placement, lots of big companies here visited but I have no idea because in my departments no campus placement, and other internships. 85 percent of getting placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

In Masters's degree in M.A sociology. 16000 thousand for 2 years.In this course no internships and no college campuses jobs. Scholarship is good but in my time means lockdown and carona period there is no distribution.

Campus Life

There are two types of annual function and lots of fests because I m live in Aligarh Muslim University in a hostel, My hostel name is Begum Azizun Nisha Hall ( Annie's besant hostel) there is two types of annual function and fest hostel fest and hall dinner, and in college lots of fests there are different hostels and different giving fest function, there are many books in the library because ALIGARH Muslim University is one of the biggest library in Asia so that lots of books. In sports, there are many types of sports like badminton, horse riding, cricket, etc.

Admission

Yes first of all applications form apply minimum of 800 for Master's degree M.A sociology then the entrance exam, cut off means about My paper is 100 no questions 70 questions are objective and some questions are subjective definitely do this subjective question, about your subject and some aptitude like general knowledge and reasoning and then you can qualify then got admission but my time only qualified students filling a form( personal details and other work of the college in this form like name, address, phone no, medical report blood group hostel related, etc.

I like that the infrastructure of colleges good teachers are very well educated
There were no discrimination made between students
Library was fully sacked with books i love it

Dislikes

I didn'like the college it was very small
They were very less class for each subject
Overall Experience was average not so good not so bad

I choose this cause because I wanted to perfume why post graduation in the mayor subject and I did my graduation from English and notes it the teasing method is actually nice it is an need any improvement but yeah they smart class should also we used the exams is not hard

Likes

I love the infrastructure because that is what you get as a very first impression.
The faculty is awesome. They have good experience and are highly qualified.
The availability of well equipped labs and classrooms, which are very important in a student's growth.

Dislikes

The crowd can be a bit negative for a few students
But the crowd is the best part of this university as it is has a huge campus and the crowd is just a little thing.
The clasess run for all the 7 days in a week, but still we do get atleast 2 weekoffs per semester per programme.

Course Curriculum Overview:

All our courses are well aligned by the National Education Policy and the syllabuses are cobered very thoroughly alongwith providing us with the required practical knowledge and understanding. Professors make concepts so easy that we can remember the concepts for a lifetime.

Quality Education with Practical Exposure

Likes

The faculty members were very supportive and always guided students in academics as well as career-related matters. Their teaching methods were practical and easy to understand.
The college focused on practical learning through workshops, projects, and industry visits, which helped me gain real-world exposure and improve my skills.
The campus environment was safe, friendly, and encouraging for women. Various cultural events, seminars, and extracurricular activities made college life enjoyable.

Dislikes

The placement opportunities were decent, but the college can improve by inviting more reputed companies with better salary packages.
The number of industry collaborations and internship opportunities could be increased to provide better career exposure to students.
Some campus facilities and infrastructure can be upgraded further to enhance the overall student experience.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the course curriculum 4 out of 5 it was relevant, well structured and covered both theoretical and practical aspects of the subject . One of the main reason I choose this course was it's career oriented syllabus and opportunities for practical learning.

The atmosphere of the university was quite appreciating, and the professors were interactive. Building and space was impressive.
The college life here was comfortable, the faculty and teaching method was of A+ grade.
The infrastructure of the campus was great and had everything inside the campus from basic amenities to overall facilities.

Dislikes

The behaviour of the African and Nigerians were not appreciated, they used to bully North Indian students.
Many fields were left abandoned at had chaos in that area which resulted in mosquitos and other insect accumulation.
The lifts usually had power breakdown and due to number of students there was delay in everyone attending the classroom to the right 7-8 floor.

Amity conducted their own entrance test. I have done my graduation in psychology so this was my only option. I also have interest in this field.

A Glimpse of Life in Aligarh Muslim University

I chose this college mainly because of the less fees structure and the greenary campus , a good place to study.Moreover, I'm preparing for govt exams also, so the time needed during M.tech. is enough to focus on exams too. Also, I don't want any gap between the study and job as we have to justify later during interview (the year gaps , if any). Moreover , lot of opportunities are also possible in foreign countries too , and we are also eligible for Assistant professor post (if any). I applied for this college only. Highly affordable fee of course and hostel fee. Hostel provides us so many facilities in a very basic pay of 1500 per month including mess and other things. For m.ed we have to prepare for an entrance test. Forms of amu m.ed are generally out during january- march period. The paper is of 100 marks, only mcq, based on core papers of b.ed. the cutoff is around 55+ for general+external candidate and 40+ for internal. The admission process is smooth and easy. The admission process was online, and it was an easy and smooth process, the university created a separate admission counseling portal to get admission, we just have to upload aur concerned documents and within a few days, it gets verified, and then they release firm list, according to the first list we have to pay admission fees, and then after successful payment, we get admit card for the concerned course....Read More
