Remarks

Overall the college is the best in the are, it's affordable with good faculty members, but yea you won't enjoy your college life a lot here.

Entrance Preview

I got admission into this college on the basis of my JEE mains marks which were very good. Also my class 12th marksheet was also asked by the college authorities, which again was also good for me as i scored above 90% in my CBSE boards.

Course Curriculum Overview

As i had science in my class 12th and i had interest in it, i went ahead with the B.tech, though now-a-days crazy for it is dying, but still if you work hard you will be successful. Their is no doubt in that.

Internships Opportunities

The college doesn't provide for any kind of internship, though it is mandatory to do internship at well known companies during the course time. So a student has to try on in own to find a good internship place.

Placement Experience

The placement offers in the college are not too good neither too bad, if you have worked hard in your college days, than you will be able to secure a job otherwise not. It's as simple as that, it all depends on you.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is one of the most affordable private colleges in the city. For a B.tech student the fee is Rs. 40,000 per annum. which is a great amount when it comes to private institutions in the city.

Faculty

The professors in the college are really well knowledgeable, they are very experience and knows how to teach a student in a better way. Also the way of teaching of the professors in this college is really amazing and interesting.

The placements cell try their best to get as many students placed as they can.many companies visit us including celebal, tcs and I don't know about the percentage but it's pretty good not everyone will get the placement but yes who have time to their studies will definitely get one.the average package is around 5lakh per anum ctc it can go upto 25 to 30.lakh based on your knowledge entirely

A complete average College

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum includes lab works, workshops and seminars. Which influence the choice to choose the course. But they are lacking to get hands on experience. Though they are guest lectures and seminar which is highly beneficial. Need to provide report on summer internship, industrial training, which is mandatory according to curriculum. Which helps in gaining hands on real life skills. But students still pass this barrier using fake certification and copied reports. And faculty is not strict about this. I believe the latest technologies which is not integrated in curriculum like AI/ ML ,recent frameworks , even if integrated not taughtd in depth. Like we have subjects AI , ML but no practical learning. Assignment are huge burden with little learning we need assessment that tests understanding rather than memorization. More subjects needed on softs skills especially in last year during placement season. Live project with company as all student are not able to land good internships. Frequency of exams like midterm( 2 in 3-4 months) ,practical( at the end of semester just after 2 nd midterm exam). End semester exams - 10-20 days after practical exams.

A balanced blend of learning , growth , and opportunity at GMEC Ajmer

Placement Experience:

Campus palcements at GMEC Ajmer are quite good, especially foe CSE and core branches. Students become eligible for placement grom the 7th semester, and many companies visted the campus every year. Some of the prominent recruiters includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys, capgemini, cognizantand tech mahindra among others. Highest package varies every year (in 2025 it goes to 13 lpa) Average package: Ranges between 3.5 to 5 lpa Approxi,ately 80-85 5 of eligible students got placed, especially those from technical backgrounds with good coding and communication skills. Some students also go for off-campus drives or pursue higher studies like M.Tech or MBA. As for my plans, after completing the degree, I aim to either get placed in a reputed IT company or pursue higher studies depending on the opportunities available and personal career goals.

Above average college with affordable fee structure

The admission process for SKIT involves REAP(Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process) counselling. You can apply for REAP through it's official website. The merit is based on student's JEE rank and 12th aggregate percentage in PCM. The application form fee is merely between Rs. 200-300/- and registeration starts around the month of June each year. REAP is common counselling for colleges under RTU(Rajasthan Technical University) including SKIT. Students not able to get seats through REAP counselling merit, can apply through management quota which consists of roughly 10% of the overall seats for a particular branch....Read More
