It is a very good technical institute and the administration tries it maximum to support the student community. If you want to study engineering in the country, IITs are the best choice before you. You can learn a lot.

Course Curriculum Overview
We have a seven-story building as Library. I could always access it. So there were not any shortcoming for resources. I used the library for the first year then started using ebooks which almost everyone has. I don't have much interest in research but I think we have the resources to meet the need in the campus.
Internships Opportunities
Yes. For some of the branches they provide some certain internships, for example, I had one at Cochin shipyard which my department arranged for all the second year students each year. For others we have internship drives were almost everyone can find an internship for themselves. Doing an internship is mandatory and is part of our course structure. We got 3000 rs for accommodation from our department. It was a good way to know the industry and the work atmosphere.
Placement Experience
It is pretty high compared to most of the colleges in India, as everyone expects but not all get placed one in four students usually don't get a job from campus placement. The packages vary from almost 10,000,000 per annum to 6 LPA. Most of the popular giants usually come for our placement drives.
College Events
Shaastra is our technical fest, which is the largest student-run technical fest. Saarang is a very big cultural event.In addition, Every department has their own fests. There are weekly lectures by eminent personalities every week. Shaastra has a footfall of 30000 where Saarang has around 60000
Fee Structure And Facilities
50000 tuition fee per semester, 7500 Special fee per semester. Hostel and food fee is around 20000 rs semester per semester. The fee structure has revised last year. That is almost double of what I am paying now. There are no hidden figures and you could get various scholarships easily.
Fees and Financial Aid
Merit cum means scholarship offered by the central government. Alumni have some scholarship schemes. Some of the state governments provide scholarships for IIT students too. Loans are easy to get, there is an SBI branch inside the campus who provides loan quickly for the needy.
Campus Life
The campus is one of the most beautiful campuses in the world and the best thing is it's natural. The campus has a lot of good avenues to explore and a lot of events to participate. The gender ratio is poor, it's 1:7. The student and faculty community is as diverse as it gets in an Indian institute, but the representation from some of the states and social backgrounds are low.
Hostel Facilities
In the first year, you will get a single room shared with one of your batchmates. There won't be much space. Form second year onwards you will get a room. We have a very good internet connection in hostels along with all other important facilities. Food is good unless you get bored.
Alumni/Alumna
Each year the passing out batch contribute something to the camps so it gets better and better year after year. Alumni funding is one of the main sources of institutes revenue. And the alumni community backs the campus very well all the time.They have a scholarship for needy and various awards for the excellent students in each field.
Exam Structure
On an average, everyone will have to attend the class or courses for twenty-five hours per week. Ther will be two quizzes and one end-semester exam in each semester for most of the course, some professors choose seminars, assignments or something of that sort instead of exams.
Admission
Two level entrance, JEE main, and Advance. All the related notifications and details were there on the official website. It was very elaborate but not much difficult procedure. Right from application to the option giving and the first payment was through the website.
Faculty
Like everywhere we have all kind of professors. But here they are not really professors they are primarily scientists and they are sharing their knowledge. Most of them are very good at their field of expertise but only a few of them have the expertise in teaching.
