Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course because of my interest in social work. The university provides faculties with Ph.D., NET, MPhil, etc. Teaching methods by faculties are brilliant. They follow the outcome-based syllabus. Through this students can build their character and qualities like leadership skills, communication, and listening skills. Students have to do internships in different community and psychiatric settings. Students have to submit a desertion at the end of the course. Examination conducted in each semester. Exams are neutral and easy to crack for those who are hardworking.
Internships Opportunities :
Students can get internship opportunities in several settings, like NGOs, destitute homes, hospitals, panchayaths, etc. They can also take part in projects and missions like Jaljeevan, suchithva missions, etc.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fees are paid during admissions itself. This university is the one that provides a quality Master's in social work with very low fees. The total fee that one student should pay is around 19000. including all taxes. They provide several scholarship schemes for all categories.
Campus Life :
Campus life is excellent provided with a lot of programs academically and refreshments for students. Gender workshops are conducted every year. The gathering of alumni is there. So many clubs like, sports, gym, arts, social work clubs, NSS, etc.
Hostel Facilities :
Students are provided with hostels. Both girls' and boys' hostels are there. Provided with great quality meals with a lot of dishes. The rate is quite affordable. There is no registration process and 100% security is provided. Thirunnavaya is a place where students are provided with accommodation.
Admission :
The Admission process started with an entrance exam. A total of 120 seats are available for MSW. The application forms are provided on the official website. And websites are up to date. There is only a small amount is paid for application fees. Around 250 rupees. Reservations are available for SC /ST students, also OBC categories. The admission process is brilliant and affordable.
