- Whole college is a nature vibe. Icluding lots of varities of natural elements. Perfect for art students.
- College provides physical edhcation so college gym is available to all.
- College fests are incredible. Lots of activities.
Dislikes
- Therr is no UG hostel for boys but it is provided to phd students.
- Hostel mess service is ineffective. It should be more efficient
- Art supplies art not provided from college.
Course Curriculum Overview
They provide standard curriculum just like every other bfa colleges. An artist has high opportunites. Animation fields and computer graphics. Teachers their life experience and techniques to improve our skills.
Fees and Financial Aid
Year wise around 4000 is paid for our course. But its reduced for me due to scholarship gained through OBC. Hostel fees is 75 but mess is included thats around weekly 500. Batchmates pay 5000 or more. Egrantz are offered.
Campus Life
There are festivals conducted by college union so they do film fests, dance programs, music concerts, drama etc. There kalolsavams conducted natnational level. Big library including all informations and media centre, web centre etc.
Hostel Facilities
Enough spacious, electricity, free wifi,etc Mess is provided at a weekly rate of 500. Parking facilities are aranged. Meals are normal. Registration is through dss offuce located inside the campus. Not so bad atmosphere.
Admission
I applied for 5 colleges of fine arts. I only got in on here. There was hostel available for me and fees was affordable and campus has an ambiance. I prefered fine arts college mavelikkara cause it was close to my house.
Faculty
Teachers are mostly punctual. But they are specialized in their own art field so lot to learn from them. Dont have a reason to dislike a faculty. Exams are based one owns skill.considering its a professional course.
Interview Experience
No we had an entrance exam. Just a life study and creative painting on given topic. Apply for admission online. The attend exam on the provided date. List will be announced. Need to practice. Other colleges have theory exams, ssus kalady doesn't have one
Night Life
Night life is amazing. Especially with hostel being inside compound, and just have to get in before 10. There are cafes and restraunts near by. Good service. There is kalady river and malayatoor view points to hang out
