Best Fine arts college in Kerala and one of the best in India

A very good place to strengthen your art career. It is one of the best art institutions in India and is the best in Kerala. There are great facilities here to help us build a strong foundation. Art is complex and even with all these facilities the way you make use of it defines what you make out of it.

Very good. Passed a written exam conducted in a nearby exam center and got selected for practical exams. Appeared for Practical exams. There were two tests, Creative Painting, and Portrait respectively. Passed practical test and got shortlisted for Interview. Successfully passed all entrance tests and got admission among 123 students.

Since it is a government institution and we are practicing art as a career College doesn't guarantee any job opportunities or placements. It is very reasonable since after all art is more than a mere job.

Annual Show, Degree Show, Final Display (post-graduation) are the main events celebrated here. Other than onam there are no certain events which are selected to be celebrated. An all-India camp was conducted 2 years ago and it was also celebrated with artworks and things like that.

The fee is very low compared to other art institutions. A fee as low as 2800 is needed to get admission for the first year. There are other fees like exam fees and so but they are also very low and affordable. No further expenses are not normally applicable.

Egrand is a common scholarship available for students belonging to the reservation category. It offers a reduction in fees and hostel expenses. Student loans are also available here. Depending upon the need of the student one can apply for it.

The college has a play area, not much spacious but still usable. There is a sports club also. There are various studios inside the campus. The studios keep the great quality and the faculties are very helpful.

There is only a men's hostel facility. There are many rooms and each accommodating two persons. Toilet and bathroom facility and 24×7 water are available. Rooms have sufficient lighting and fans and also windows and cupboards available.

Yes, they are very helpful. Senior helps us in our studies by interaction. They have more experience and are kind enough to share their knowledge with us. Students from other states also share their way of work and knowledge with us. Alumnae helps us to build our careers outside the college.

Very informative. College faculties are very supportive. Other than college faculties there are also programs conducted to interact with other faculties from outside. These programs help us widen our view.
