Course Curriculum Overview
I was highly inclined towards the Automobile Industry as I am very passionate about them, The student ratio was 8:3 in our class. Talking about the qualification of the faculty, they are well versed in their subjects and the teaching method is great. The exams were conducted timely and the mid-term exams were easy although the end sem exams could vary from subject to subject and the course. Slightly on the difficult side.
Placement Experience
Placements for core fields like Automobile or Aeronautical are mediocre as they have lesser job opportunities overall as compared to other fields like MBA or CSE. The companies that visited the campus during the year 2023 for automobiles were Honda 2-wheelers, Honda 4-wheelers, Cognizant, Suzuki, ZYCUS, and Keyence among others.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees of the course is on the moderate side, considering the opportunities provided be it the internships provided, educational trips or anything else. Our college provides scholarships for first year students who have scored more than 93% in their boards and that scholarship can be continued if they are in the top 5% of their class in their respective year.
Campus Life
Your campus life depends on the company you choose, and the type of friends you make in your college life, and that statement holds here as well. There are a lot of opportunities for students to show their extra co-curricular side be it the annual sports fest i.e. Sangathan and Amity Youth Fest which is the largest fest of our college. Classrooms and libraries are great and there are various clubs run by various students of various departments.
Admission
The eligibility for the course was 60% and above in your 12th grade then there was an admission test, and if below that, you have to pay slightly more fees during the admission process. The application form is available on the college's website. There were no reservation benefits that were availed by me. In my opinion, admission can be made more stricter as there are children from different backgrounds irrespective of their academic backgrounds.
