Remarks

Again, i want to remind that NTC is really a good option at affordable fees for those who want to build their career in textile field. It offers engineering in Textile Technology and Textile Chemistry. Above 95% placement.

Entrance Preview

I gave UPSEE and did counseling. One can also get direct admission. There's no interview. I'm passionate about building my career in textile industry, so I opted for it.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

It's really a good experience for me . One get exceptional practical knowledge in here. This college have all the machines which are necessary and no other college has that much facilities. Also NTC Ghaziabad is well known for its research initiatives in textile field. Currently, they are working on smart textile too. One can choose from: Textile Technology, Textile Chemistry. Both are good option.

Internships Opportunities

Yeah college provide internship opportunity to each and every student in major companies. They provide you everything you need to gain during internship. Experience is really worthy and awesome. Not every student gets stipend (depends on the company), some get stipend, some get food & accommodation and some gets nothing.

Placement Experience

4.5

The placement rate is very good for Textile students of both branches. But little bit mesmerizing for computer science students. As far as, textile branches are considered, NTC has around 96% placement record. Companies like Vardhman Textiles, Jayshree, T.T., Alok, Winsome, Niti Merchandiser, etc visit the campus, offering an average placement of ₹25k / month which is increased to ₹31k /month, just after completion of one year in a company.

College Events

3.5

College organises these events on college level every year: Cultural activities, Sports meet, Annual fest, Fresher party, Farewell party, Alumni meet, Industrial visits, Guest lectures for soft skills training. Also students get the opportunities to participate in big events organised by other colleges and universities. College authorities contribute their full support and also welcome new opportunities and ideas for organising events from students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Tution fee for one year is ₹87000(approx). One can pay it in two installments. So it's really affordable in Delhi NCR. Also they provide all the resources to apply for scholarship for the eligible candidates. Living cost in hostel and outside hostel is almost equal. ₹70000 for average livings.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yeah. College provide all resources to avail the scholarship to the eligible candidates. One can apply for loan, but i think there's no need for that. Fee is really affordable. Also college has collaboration with government organisations and Textile ministry that provide scholarship to the topper and needy candidates regularly.

Campus Life

3.5

In terms of extracurricular, college is below average. This is a negative point.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

I'm not residing in hostel, but i know the hostel infrastructure very well as i visit it frequently to meet my friends. Rooms are average, but clean. One can opt for either single room or sharing. Food is quite good. Management visit mess on regular basis to check the quality. One can live PGs just outside the college. Local citizens rent their home or rooms to students at affordable rates. Both hostel and PGs cost almost equal, around ₹70000/yr (including food). Shopping, movies, shows, etc add extra amount to the above.

Alumni/Alumna

Yeah it's good . In fact, college organises Alumni Meet every year. All students get proper platform to interect with them. They help students during the industrial internship and early days of job, so yes , they contribute in development of college and it's reputation.

Exam Structure

Labs rarely makes us feel tired, but sometimes exams do. As college have to follow the University (AKTU) criteria, so they have to conduct the exams one in month to test the knowledge. Also B.tech is a professional course , so they have to follow the protocol. Its always to have chill during sports weeks, cultural fest, etc. Also the environment is good.

Faculty

4.5

Here, students get the faculty who are very specialized in textile field and they have both industrial and theoretical knowledge. Average faculty experience is around 10-15 years. They are professional in their field, so they really know about how to interact with the students. The standard of teaching is good. They frequently use projector for better explanation. Students can take subject notes from them easily. They are very helpful.

Placement Experience:

Placements are both on and off-campus based. Placements are usually common for both IT and Non-IT students, Technical or Non-Technical. Students become eligible, in their final years to pursue internships or acquire placements. Usually students from Computer Science and Engineering avail more placement opportunities. The Medical Department have more options of Employability. Companies like HCL, Byju's, Extramarks, IBM and other local companies like Stambh Power Systems, Pieinfocomm and others have arrived. But the placement ratio needs to be increased. Off-Campus Placements are more successful. Highest Package can be 8lpa CTC to average package be 2.5lpa CTC, with profiles of assistance and associates. Atleast 30% students get placed on average. My plans are based on Learning in different ways.
