Course Curriculum Overview

I have chosen this course because of the wide scope of it in industry. Faculty to student ratio is 1:30 I would say. faculty is quite qualified for third and fourth year most of them having Phd's. Term exams are after every two months and its quite easy to get good marks in exams by studying overnight.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Placement Experience

from 7 semesters onwards students become eligible for placements and some of the mass recruiters like Infosys, TCS, and cognizant come and other recruiters like local companies come. The highest package is 13LPA. and the average package is 3.5 LPA. The percentage od students getting placed is less than 30%.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee hikes really depend upon the management but in my experience fee hikes are not that much. Scholarships are provided to sikh students in most cases and if you are really a needy one then you can avail of alumni scholarships.

Campus Life

The annual fest's name is Anand Utsav and there are no tech fest's, rarely they can happen once in two to three years, books are available in a wide range of libraries. classrooms don't have A.C . Sports and other stuff is average.

Hostel Facilities

the facility provided in the hostel room is quite basic and for the first year it is good I would say and meal quality is good many got digestion problems after that. The registration process is simple and the hostel is affordable

Hostel Fee: INR 100000 per year

Admission

The admission process was not that much hectic one can easily get admission if he has appeared for jee mains. Moreover, if you want to get CS/IT branch your jee rank should be within 200000 only and for other streams even that much is also not required

Placement Experience:

Mostly from the 5th Sem (3rd Yr) students are eligible for their placements and can participate in the coming drives. Alot of companies ranging from Amazon to Infineon come every year and max package of 3cr has gone and an average of 12LPA mostly is attained by the students.

CHITKARA - NEW LIFE BEGINNING

Placement Experience:

Placements at Chitkara University are decent for CSE AI ML. Students are allowed to sit for campus drive from about 7th sem. Many tech and service firms visit like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, Capgemini, and some product firms too. Offer count is good for CSE branch each year. Avg package is near 4 to 6 LPA for most roles, and top package can go much higher for select students in dev and AI roles. Around 70 to 80 percent students get some offer if they meet skill and marks rules. The place cell gives test prep, mock talk, and resume help. After my degree, my plan is to get a dev or AI role first, then grow skills and later move to a higher tech role or MS study.

EXPLORING MY POTENTIAL

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester (3rd year) onwards, and internships often start from the same time. The placement season runs in the final year with companies visiting from October to March. Big companies like Amazon, Adobe, Deloitte, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, IBM, Microsoft and Oracle come for drives, and many smaller firms also hire. Highest packages reported recently are up to ?1.11 crore (mainly from Amazon), and average packages across engineering are around ?8–10 lakh per annum. Placement percentage is pretty high (80–95%) if a student actively participates and prepares well. Many students get placed on Day 1 itself during drives. Most offers are in software development, IT, data roles, consulting and product teams. Top companies also give super dream offers (10 LPA+) to a good chunk of students. In short: campus placements are strong for CSE/AI-ML if I prepare well. The support from the placement cell helps with training and interview prep, but final results still depend largely on my skills.

1) I only applies to Guru nanak dev engineering college ludhiana and Lovely professional university Phagwara . As this college was nearest to my home . It is. Also one the most popular college in Punjab. It is most affordable college . I didn't applied to any other college .
