Course Curriculum Overview

I chose the course because I wanted to join in IT industry. The faculty-student ratio is 6:120. A maximum number of faculties will have a phd. There will be three internal exams. The difficulty is level-easy to medium.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 27000 per year

Internships Opportunities

HP Aruba with a stipend of 40000, AstraZeneca with a stipend of 18000. Fidelity investments with a stipend of 40000. A final year project has to be done over the course of 3 months in major areas like ML, AI, and Web development.

Placement Experience

From the 6th semester, students will be eligible for placements. Companies visited include Wipro, CTS, TCS, Comcast Viasat, and Tiger Analytics etc., Most 70 per cent get placed. I would like to work in an IT company.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is around 25000 for self-aid students and around 150000 for management students. There are many scholarships provided for students. I got placed in CTS and Capgemini with a 4 lacs package.

Campus Life

Maximum all the subject books will be available in the library. There will be Smart boards and projectors in the classroom. There are NSS, Dramatics, Visual Arts Dance, English and Tamil and Music clubs.

Admission

12th passed with cut-off maths, physics and chemistry above 190 or we can apply through mgmt with a cutoff above 180 by paying 1 lakh 50 thousand per year. We can apply through the official college website of TCE

Placement Experience:

From 6th sem onwards students are eligible to attend the placement drives. companies like Amazon , tcs , Accenture, cognizant, sonacomstar, nissiki, valeo, Cap Gemini visit the campus. The highest package offered was 41LPA by Amazon and average package was 4LPA.

The Roller Coaster Ride of College life

Placement Experience:

Placements begin in the 7th semester. Companies like Zoho with 20 offers, Accenture with 200 offers,Hexaware with 250 offers ,CTS with 200 offers , Infosys with 50 offers and others visit. Not a topper but a good learner

Placement Experience:

In my department, placement will provide in the final year. In pre final year they provide internship training to the students. Nearly 10 to 15 companies gives placement in the core sector. It's packages are 25k average. For non core like IT, minimum of 20 to 40 companies will visit to the campus for placement. It's average package will be 35 to 45k.

Placement Experience:

About the placement of colleges there are many compromise to visit to college respect of different departments and the placement start as well as internships when they student enter final year. Percentage of the student getting placement where is from department to department but maximum student gets placed at the end of the year.

College with good environment, teaching and placements

I have applied for firstly SSN and write exam but i not able to get it. I get here through TNEA, it is a counselling condued by State government for engineering students. The process is based on physics , chemistry and biology marks they give rank and you get seat according to that, i get a college and course on my preference.
