Likes

The environment of the campus is very eco-friendly. There is a big playground for playing many outdoor games. Faculties are very friendly and helpful. They always enlighten us with their knowledge. Laboratory is well equipped.
The library is full of a variety of books and journals.
Internship and placement facility is satisfied.

Dislikes

More books are needed for library and more equipments are needed for laboratory.

Course Curriculum Overview

This course is a very trending course and placement can be easily accessible in hospitals or nursing homes. Faculty: Student ratio: 1:7. Qualification of faculty is M.Sc in Food & Nutrition. Faculties are very friendly and helpful. They always enlighten us with their knowledge. Term exams are conducted between 6 months intervals, the questions are not so easy but not so difficult also.

Internships Opportunities

The name of the hospital for an internship is ILS Hospital, Saltlake.(15000/- for a week) We have worked under a full-time Registered dietitian in the hospital. It was a 7-day internship. After the internship, we had to make a report on it.

Placement Experience

From 6th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Companies visited are - Nestle and Woodlands Hospital. Average package - 100000/- per year. Maximum students get placement. After completing my B.Sc, I will complete my M.Sc and then will go for a job.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees for 3 years: 99000 /-, Fees can be given in installments. Students' credit card is acceptable. Hospital internship is done - 15000/-, Placement is given, the salary of which is - 100000/- per year.

Campus Life

The Name of the annual fest & Tech fest is Kingstoxication, which is conducted in December or January every year. A variety of books and journals are available in the library. Several programs are arranged by the college such as Basanta utsab, Culinary competition, drawing competition, and photography competition. There are art and craft club, sports club, and cultural club run by students.

Admission

Eligibility of the course is HS passed with science ( Chemistry & Biology must). Each and every detail are found on the college's official website Keical.edu.in. Seat booking can be done. No improvement is needed.

Good academics with limited internship opportunities

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is relevant and well structure. It includes theory an practical subject which help in building strong basics it is useful for higher studies and future career . Placement Experience:

After completing the 5th Semester the student are eligible for placement but the student should have 7.5 CGPA and a good attendence for the palcement after this oncampus placement like TCS, wipro, accenture etc come for placement with a native package of around 6-8 LPA. Which is goood . Nearly as per report around 80% of studentt gets placed every year . After i complete this course i have decide to go master degree in data science which will be benificial for me for international company.

Pros and cons

Placement Experience:

Placement or internship depends on the course Duration . Overall placement is good . The highest package is 1cr/ yr. And the average package 2to3 lakh/ yr. After getting the bsc. degree in Forensic science, I want to prepare for compitive exam or prepare for higher studies.
