Course Curriculum Overview
The teachers were really good. Most of them were high rankers from good universities. The approach of the course is focused on practical knowledge and not just theory. I choose this course beacause the way the mentors expalined the course while I went for the admission was quite exciting and there were also different kinds of Tech clubs which made it even more interesting, Faculty student ratio is good. There might be a total of 50 teachers for the 250+ students in B.Tech. Of course, the faculty of subjects like maths etc teach different courses as well. The exams were mostly conducted on time however there are sometimes mess up in the last dates of the reexams.
Placement Experience
4th-year students become eligible for campus placement. Companies like TCS, Cognizant, etc. are tied up for the placement. There are also several small companies that come for placement drives. For b.tech CSe there are about 30% who get the placement from the college itself. The highest package goes until approx 12 LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
During my time, since the college changed its affiliation from MDU to a state private university, therefore, the fee was initially high, but for the following batch, it was dropped to the level of MRIU. The fee is the same for all 4 years of B.Tech. There are placements and mass placements that are conducted in the college but it is difficult to avail the scholarship. However, students with 90% or higher in the 12th board avail of the scholarship.
Campus Life
Life on campus is amazing. It is a huge campus with almost every facility available from sports to labs. All the classrooms as well as the labs are central air conditioned. The furniture is amazing. Almost every class has projectors. There are a good number of buses available. There is a huge parking space. There is no swimming pool though. The campus overall is amazing. However, there is some difficulty in traveling using public transport, especially if the timing is a little off.
Admission
The admission process was very simple. Since most of my criteria were met therefore there was no need for checking any cutoff. They occasionally ask for the JEE mains marks but there is no cutoff as such.
