Remarks

Overall the college is good. The aura is good. It's far better than every private college. Though management is strict with rules sometimes. But it's pretty chilled and laid out. You can study as well as have fun.

Entrance Preview

IIT JEE , I took admission in this college because it was in vicinity of my home and I can enjoy being day scholars as well as Hosteler.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course curriculum is good. It has been made very flexible nowadays. Even top tier colleges don't provide so much flexibility in choosing the course. From the start of 2 year, students have the option to choose between the core subjects according to their interest and CGPA. There is also foreign language which students can opt.

Internships Opportunities

The college doesn't provides internships as of now. But after 3year , 2 month industrial training (internship) is compulsory. From 2017 onwards , each year student is required to do internship so as to hone their skills according to industry standards.

Placement Experience

4.5

One of the major factors toward taking admission in this college was placement. The placement has and have always been at par. This year itself , Amazon took 4 students , giving them 24L /annum. SAP labs took 2 full time students and 2 for internship. Deloitte took 24 students with average package of 7-8 lakhs. All major companies visit our campus offering great job opportunities.

College Events

5

Our college hosts tons of events throughout the year. From cultural festivals like Dandiya night to Fest , our college hosts dozens of events. Technical events are held throughout the year. Hubs like robotics, programming,IEEE hosts technical events. Each hub hosts workshops round the year teaching new things to students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is feasible. In year 2015 onwards the fee was as follows : 1. Odd sem- 1,25,000 2. Even seem - 65,000 Costing to total of 1,90,000 per year. This excludes hostel, mess and transportation (for 128 students residing in sector 62 campus). Hostel fees(including mess) is 55,000 per semester. The fess increase is around 10-15% per year but once you enter the college, your fees slab is fixed. Only the hostel fees changes.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college offers scholarship to students whose household income is less than 2.5l annually. Also for loan arrangements, college may be able to help with bank procedures but college it's doesn't have provide loan as far as I know.

Campus Life

4.5

Campus life is pretty awesome. From morning to night, the campus is full of students. From attending classes in morning, bunking them to hang out at cafe and going out, students enjoy their life to fullest. From evening , when classes are over, all hubs start their activities. You can see students from dancing and singing to making robots. The gender ratio is what you expect in technical college. Boys are more than girls. People from every state can be seen here. Students from Bhutan also take admission in our college. Our college also has NRI quota available. Then you have debate socities , literature hub , programming hub and environment hub which discuss and conduct workshops. During evening, you can see all sports courts full. People practice and play with friends and college teams. At night people walk around the campus with friends. Sitting on the grass at night with friends is so relaxing . People even play on the grass.

Hostel Facilities

4

There are many hostel building. The first years are separated from seniors so as to avoid ragging. They have separate hostel from them. From 2nd year onwards , hostellers share same building of 19 floors. Each year is allotted , few floors. The rooms are shared by 2 people at most. The hostel has warden on each floor in case of any help. Campus has gym, swimming pool, basketball court , tennis court, table tennis, pool and snooker. Squash facility is in making. We have all kinds of sports facilities in our college. The PG's nearby cost around 10-15K per month.

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors are very helpful. We have mentorship program. 4th year students mentors students in lab which not only helps teachers but also students. It's easier to ask someone of our age than teacher. They also share their experience with us. Various time, alumnis are invited. They give talk and share their experience. Our one of the notable alumni is Kriti Sanon , who everyone knows. We have many alumnis who work in Facebook and Google.

Exam Structure

The schedule is hectic in the starting but once you get a hang of it, it's pretty chilled out. The exams are divided into 3 portions over the semester. T1 are held after 1-1.5 months from the start of the semester. After one month if T1,T2(each of 20 marks) are held. In between labs tests, quizzes and evaluations are held for the labs. Teachers take quizzes in tutorials. After 2 months of T2, final end sem T3(35 marks) are held.

Admission

The website of the college has notification section. Whenever the admission process starts , they post a notification on the website related to it.The application forms are online. But you have to print the form , fill it up and then post it to the college. Then when the result of JEE mains are out, counseling is held and students are invited to the college. According to ranks, and availability of seats in that course, students can opt for their choice of course and if seat is available, they can fill up all the details and give the payment (DD) then and there.

Faculty

4

The faculty is especially good. Teachers are very helpful and motivating. Some teachers are purely professional which inculcates professionalism in students. The recruited teachers are well qualified and have had good experience in the field. The labs also have good assistants who help the students throughout the semester. Coming to particular department, the CASE faculty compromises the largest proportion. Each and every teacher is good though methods of teaching varies largely.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose BTech because I wanted to explore how real world works with technology and to know the insights of technology. The college mostly provides theoretical knowledge and not the practical knowledge refraining us from more exposure to real world problems. If the course is shifted from theoretical to practical it'll be really helpful. Two exams are conducted per semester, and the difficulty level is moderate.
