Course Curriculum Overview

As I'm pretty much good in biology i choose for biotechnology course. When it comes to the faculty most of them have done PhD in different subjects. We had enough of time to prepare for our term exams and also it was not that difficult to pass.

Class Size: 105Course Fees: INR 132000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The actual fees is starting from 3,20,000/yr. Also the college provides the scholarships like AICTE scheme, even i applied for it and it got confirmed and i had to pay 1,32,000/yr. I'm not sure about the financial related topics

Campus Life

During November they used to conduct tech tatva which is a fest and also the food fest. There is central library inside the campus, you can get any books related to the subjects. There's also sports who are interested in it, there is a basketball court, cricket ground etc.

Admission

Yeah I wrote Manipal Entrance Test(MET), i found the application in their own website. The fees was starting from around 3,20,000/yr. As the college provides the AICTE scheme i had got seat for 1,32,000/yr, which is very good.

i would rate 3/5 because we want more systems to do our work as well as labs too,the main thing is we dont have that faculty compare to other department their are only 4 faculty,so they can't even able to take extra class for us ,so this is the main problem in our deparment

Good for you if you want a degree and want self learn

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are no such specific of the curriculum that influenceed me to take these course instead i was interested or kneen to this course., since my childhood I wanted do this course. It's good in terms of virtual world but not for real world. Everywhere there's a need of improvement no practical knowledge is present here no one talks about new ideas not even they think about even some of them came because it costed them low. No such specific difficulty.

Placement Experience:

The students from the last year that is seventh semester are allowed to attend the placement given on campus. There are not so many campus placement available. Many companies such as tcs, wipro and other companies basically giving less salary compared to other colleges. There are many few students who got placed in the companies through campus placement hence it cannot be trusted completely. My plans after getting a degree is to get a job or even higher studies of possible. The average students getting placed are very low.

The Pros and Cons of being a student at MIT Manipal

I tried JEE but could not secure a good enough percentile to get into prominent NITs. MIT Manipal seemed to be better than any of the cet colleges with only the course fee being slightly on the higher end. I applied to SRM and VIT, both of which i got accepted into, but opted out as it seemed like both of these colleges rely heavily on student intake and are money minded. MIT Manipal has an exam called the MET which is based on a jee scheme (+3 -1). In my year the only marks required to secure a seat in the college was the MET but the scheme has changed and now board marks are also taken into consideration. JEE percentile can also be considered if the student secures above 95 , but most students take MET and are given ranks according to it....Read More
