I am pursuing a Bachelor of Science in mathematics because I want to pursue higher studies in mathematics and I love to solve maths problems. The faculty of Mathematics at Lucknow University is fine. This faculty consists high qualified professors and their teaching capability is excellent. This faculty has a nice library and research hall. Our faculty looks fabulous. The student ratio in each class is about 30 to 40 students. Members of our faculty are hardworking everything is punctual and classes happen daily and on time. We also celebrate maths day and Ramanujam diwas and we learn about great mathematicians. Exams will happen on semester wise and the toughness level of exams is average. A maximum number of students pass exams and some score excellent marks in semester exams.

The internship program at our university is good. There are various companies which offer internships QMCS India, jubilant chemsy, mera ashiyana, ICICI Prudential, ICICI Bank Yash Papers, OCD and Vodafone etc. This is a great opportunity for students to grab an internship and learn about something and also earn money.

The fee for the odd semester is 5537 rupees and for the even semester is 3300 rupees. The cost of the study is well not so much high. And we easily get a scholarship. The placement of Maths faculty is very bad and there is no any stipend.

The name of the annual fest is Sanskriti Surbhi which is held in December every year. This fest organises on a large amount there are various cultural events like dance, natak, speech, sports etc. There is the Tagore Library of Lucknow University which is a central research library. It is the oldest well organised and richest library in India. This library comprises a cyber library, UPSC library, ph.d library, pg library and many more. The working hours of this library are from 8 am to 8 pm. The Tagore Library contains not only books but also contains a great collection of rare manuscripts, paintings, arts, ancient coins, theses and research journals. We find almost every book and journal in this library. The availability of books and journals is outstanding. The sports facility at this university is well-defined. There is a separate well-organised ground for every sport like cricket, football, and basketball. A sports tournament is organised every year. There are several social groups like luupdate.

There are several hostels of Lucknow university like subash hostel , Mahmudabad hostel, Habibullah hostel and many more. I am living in Habibullah hostel . This hostel with a massive and historical architecture provides a very comfortable and good environment for the students to live and prepare for their future. Habibullah hostel consist of 100 rooms, one big common hall with indoor games facility like table tennis etc and also a LED TV. This hostel contains a large mess where 15 working staff are working for your meal. A big field for outdoor games or for cultural programand Provost office, guest room and many more are in this hostel. There is double shared room each room has a very good spacing , almirah inserted , fan, bed, table chair etc. The total fees of hostel without incuding mess is 4800 rupees per year and mess charge is 38000 rupees per year. There is also caution money which is 2250 rupees. So the total fees is 45050 rupees. Locality where room is available is daliganj.

The admission process of Lucknow University is totally online and based on entrance score or merit-wise on 12th class marks. This university offers several UG courses like Bsc, B.com, BA, B.tech, BALLB, BFA, BCA, BBA and also various PG courses like M.Sc, M.com, MA, LLM etc. Admission form fees for UG courses are 800 for general and OBC category students and 400 for SC/ST category students. For UG professional programs like BCA and BBA admission form fees are 1000 for general and OBC category students and 500 for SC/ST category students.
