My college review

There are no enough extra curricular activies. Other wise there are no negative remarks. Staffs are friendly and decent.

I took 75% in 12th board exam and got into this college. I opt computer sciene engineering because i am always destined for it

The course overall is fully based on the subjects and it is very subject oriented like in a typical engineering college. The course cannot be rated as perfect but still we had gained a good knowledge about the computers and got the ability to apply the skills in the real life technology and work on computer science field.

Nope. But they sometimes allow the bright students who managed to get into companies during their final years who have got placed in good companies to go for intership in their final semester so techinically they allow if the company the students are going is a good rated company with is worth the time.

Placements are very good and my college is the only college in Pondicherry to have placements at this large scale. more than 90% of the students are placed in good companies. So i would recommend my college to anyone who would like to get placed in a reputed mnc or a good company during on campus placement.

We had one festival called tantra and annual day function like in schools. During tantra which was conducted by cse we allowed other college students to come to our college and get particiapated in various events and prize distribution is done for them. In our annual day funciton we had the director GVM who is the chief guest.

The fee is based on the pondicherry university structure. To say the count it is totally 40k to complete the course as the goverment pays 40k for the merit students. If you come by management you have to pay a total of 80k a year and it is inclusive of the bus fee. So it may be called as a quite expensive deal.

They offer scholarship for the merit students who perform well and lower econonical students also may pay their fees in installments. They also give double the money if someone wins rewards in any competition outside the college.

The campus life is not like a movie like college atmosphere. The college sometimes gives the feel of a high school. Gender ratio is 1:1. There are equal amount of boys and girls in the college. The students are treated as same irrespective of the gender, academic performance, or any other irrelevant factor.

The hostel is a typical small roomed dorm like feel hostel. The hostel is not very much recommended for the students who likes more space. The food is decent but not up to the mark and not suitable for the students who like to eat healthy food, They might get food from the outside shops at some distance from the college.

The alumni is maintained properly by the college. But we did not have enough free time in college to communicate properly with the seniors during college.

The exams are based on the Pondicherry Univsersity and it is not as difficult as the other universities. As the college is affliated by Pondicherry University,The exam pattern is same as them. The labs are usually easy for us as we work throughout the course in the labs properly as the college does not allow students to bunk.

I got admission by management as i did not get the course i wanted through centac admission, then i had contaced the college in person and asked about the admission process. They had said that the available course are CSE, Mech . As i wanted cse i opted it and studied happily everafter.

They are very friendly and most of them are young and there are no seniors faulty members . so all of them are up to date in technology and it is very helpful when we are asking for any doubts regarding the subjects or technology. The are very talented and has the good ability to teach in such a way that students will listen.
