Course Curriculum Overview
I always had the energy and will to pursue Computer Science as it's my passion. The faculty-to-student ratio is 1:25, as in 1 mentor handles 25 mentees efficiently. The faculties are well qualified and have doctorates. Having a master's degree and good knowledge of subjects. The exam timings are categorized into 2 sessions - forenoon and afternoon. To pass the exam it's easy.
Internships Opportunities
TCS was there for 12000 per month stipend. Cognizant was also there at 12500 as an intern stipend. And Byjus at 11000 as stipend Wipro also came with the same package as Cognizant and Capgemini came with 11500 as a stipend per intern.
Placement Experience
In the 5th sem of the third year, students become eligible for placements and internships. TCS - 3.5 LPA ACCENTURE - 4 LPA COGNIZANT - 5 LPA CAPGEMINI - 6 LPA BYJUS - 3 LPA Avg package is TCS and the highest package is Cognizant. 85% of student placements are assured in Veltech.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarship based on 12th exam marks and VTUEE entrance exams. A scholarship of 50 percent was availed for my education. Campus placement: Accenture , Deloitte, and other companies except IBM were available in the campus recruitment.
Campus Life
Activity clubs were there for students to brainstorm as well as the community for developers and student hackathons were active on campus. Websites provided by the college were student and parent login portals and which were also mentor accessed and there was even an academic portal where we could see fee structure and other stuff.
Hostel Facilities
The registration process for the hostel was easier than I thought but later I was able to shift out from a place from the hostel by staying at my relative's place at avadi and using the bus for transport purposes and yet the hostel was having no fee scholarship.
Admission
The admission process was fair and good. FRIENDLY behavior by the guides and mentors. VTUEEE 2018 examination I secured State rank 5 so I redeemed 50% scholarship. The application form can be found on the official website of Veltche. It's a NAAC A+ college it doesn't requires improvement.
