Course Curriculum Overview

It's famous for its core branches and I have an interest in this branch. They are very cooperative in all types of situations like study and placement and they are very familiar. They are Ph.D. holders and well-educated. Mainly 2 times but it is not difficult if you are studying properly.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 62000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Amazon, Wipro, Infosys, TATA, and so on are giving interns a stipend and after some time it will give them jobs. Projects like building a racing car, RC plane, smoke absorber, and so many others are coming.

Placement Experience

5 th or 6 th semester become eligible for placement like tata motors, tata steel, TCS, Infosys, etc. Last year's highest package was around 85 lakh in mechanical and 1 crore in computer science and average of around 12-15 lakh. 98% of students get placement in every branch.

Fees and Financial Aid

General fees are 2,13,000 per year, but fees are taken according to your income if your income is less than 1 lakh then you have to pay only 85000, if your income is between 1-5 lakh then you have to pay only 120000. The stipend is only for MTech and Ph.D. students but there is so many scholarships for btec students like Ekalayan, ffe, and NSP.

Campus Life

Annual fests like Culfest, dandiya Night, etc. tech fests like Joss, cognition, Technica, etc. There are lots of books and journals for students. In our college, we have many sports like badminton, hockey, cricket, chess, volleyball, basketball, table tennis, etc. and we have many clubs like drift, race, go green, NSS, pr, etc.

Hostel Facilities

Here I have a lot of facilities like internet, two cupboards, 1 set of tables and chairs. Meal quality is best and it's menu is like a package of 3-star hotels. Registration through Qfix online and it's affordable.

Hostel Fee: INR 480000 per year

Admission

He/she is eligible when his/her qualified JEE mains and after that you have to do counseling. I found the details of JEE mains form on the site of JOSSA and it will come 2 times a year first in January and second in May. Yes, reservation is available for obc, SC, ST, and special for the home state.

Overall Review of NIT Jamshedpur

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum exam ready for students of mechanical engineering it focuses on industrial level exposure and for other competitive exams like gate and IES with good faculty who teaches almost all concepts. There are labs for each subject in which we get real world application knowledge. Also course is updated regularly as per the requirement of industry . The course can we improved by making course more practical rather than a writing all things on practical it should include project for students. Frequency of exam is that in every 15 days there is a exam with moderate to difficult level.

Placement Experience:

7th Semester students become eligible for placements. The highest package is offered by Rubrik in 2025 of 1.41 CR(domestic) High paying jobs are mostly for SWE/SDE roles. Percentage of students getting placed in CSE/AIML is 75, ECE 69, EEE 60, Mech 58. My plans after gettting degree is to get into job sector only for a while. No such higher education plans as such.

At BIT Mesra third is like full of practice for placements and final year more of placements activities than studies. So, when all these things are in order placements obviously will be more or less certain and here they are certain only with almost 90% students are places through campus with annual placements of 8-10 lakhs per annum.

According to my perspective or point of view students initiate preparing for placement cells in 3rd year ( 5th semester). The highest package of our college is 14 LPA And average package is 3.4 LPA. Approx 72 %students got placed in different different companies like tcs, wipro, accenture etc.

A Genuine Review

Placement Experience:

From 5th Semester onwards student are eligible for internship but from 7th semester they are allowed to sit in campus. Various companies like PayPal, Wipro , cognizant ,TCS ,Genpact ,Amdocs etc. Highest Package this year is 35 lpa and Average Package is around 7.5 lpa. Around 90% of students from circuital branch and around 80% students from non-circuital branch has been placed so far this year. My plan is prepare very smartly for campus placements and bag a very good PPO from are tech based company.

I applied for NIT Raipur NIT Durgapur and NIT prayagraj I selected this college NIT Jamshedpur because it has top class placement and the branch I was getting as mechanical engineering which is a decent branch. I got rejected from NIT prayagraj due to little less rank . The admission process of my colleges you have to qualify JEE mains with around 95 percentile to get any branch as a general student then you have to go for Josaa counselling in which you will be a lot at the seat . I did choose this college because it is quite old and reputed, being a govt college it has lesser fees and offered good placements, I got IIIT Lucknow as well, but didn't opt for it as it was quite new and didn't have proper hostel and residence facilities at that moment.
