It was a great journey overall

Overall, one of the best colleges and a life full of adventures and amusements.

I took the IIT JEE exam in 2014. I scored 212/360 in JEE advanced. I opted for this college as I is one of the best college in the country.

It is well structured course with many research opportunities in future. A lot to learn and lot for personal knowledge and development. All the lectures are focused to give the students detailed knowledge of the field. Many internship opportunities are also provided on the basis of knowledge of the course.

Yes. The stipend depends on the professor under which the internship is going on. Generally, stipend up to Rs 20000 is provided along with the accommodation and food. The overall experience fr a research enthusiast is generally overwhelming.

Generally, 80 percent of the students get placed. Near about 300 companies come for placements, so a lot of job opportunities are available. Average package is about 9 LPA. Companies from throughout the globe come for the placement eg Google, Facebook, uber etc.

Numerous events are celebrated in the college. Biggest of them are Rendezvous - the cultural fest;tech fest ; e summit. Apart from these, cultural events of all activities are held. Sport G competitions for every spots is held throughout the year. All the festivals are celebrated with much enthusiasm.

Fee for 1 semester is around 1.25 Lakhs. It is a bit higher since 2 years. So it becomes a bit expensive for 50 percent of the students. Students easily gets loans from banks so there doesn't occur any problem as such. Also, there are many scholarships available for the students which help in paying the fee.

College offers merit cum means scholarships for students whose parents income are less than than 6 LPA. Other scholarships are available for SC/St students.

Campus life is one of the best things of a student life. Gender ratio is around 1:10(girls:boys).but they overall culture is very good. All the extra curricular are available throughout the campus for the students like dance club, music club, drama club, film club etc. All the spots are also taught and played.

I would rate it 8 out of 10. They are quite good. The history rooms are decent. The quality of food is good. The hostels have table tennis tables, pool table, all the spots field, dance room and a computer room. All the facilities are provided including laundry room for the students.

Alumni network is very vast. There is a separate body for maintaining the alumni network. There are alumni secretaries who maintain sufficient contact with the alumni.

The time table is generally hassle free. The exams are held twice in a semester. Assignments are given biweekly. The overall schedule is mediocre. Student gets time for extra curricular activities in the campus. Generally 2-3 labs are there each semester. They are informative and provide a very good practical knowledge about the subject.

After the result of Jee was announced, I filled the preference order for colleges I wanted to take. After the allocation procedure, I got chemical in IIT Delhi. After the allotment, I needed to fill the necessary form. Then we need to visit the college with all the documents to freeze our seat and confirm our admission.

The faculty are very knowledgeable. Thy are experts in their fields and very helpful. They provide many research opportunities to work upon. They generally are highly qualified from a well known top universities of the world. They teach efficiently and aim towards the learning of the students.
