Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I always wanted to pursue a career in health line. So I opted to pursue Bds as I always had an interest in this field. Rayat bahra university has a good number of teachers and their teaching method is quite impressive. In bds, students need to do more practical work and teachers never resist helping students. Bds final exams happen once a year near around May but before that mid terms and send-ups happen so that one can prepare fully for final terms. To be honest, exams are difficult to pass so one needs to study harder. With self-studying, students get confident and can give their hundred percent.

Fees and Financial Aid

I think fees are not much costly according to the medical course. There are scholarships a student can get to avail a good number of percent off from their college fees. I didn't have any scholarships. I paid full fees for my course.

Campus Life

4

Every year around march /April annual fest is held. Students participate in a number of events such as dance, poetry, quizzes, sports events, and many more. Classrooms are fully ac and seating arrangement is made to occupy more than 100 students at a time so they are spacious.

Admission

Bachelor of dental surgery is one of the courses provided by rayat bahra University, Mohali. After completing 4 years of course and one year internship, one become eligible as practising dentistry in india. Student can open their clinic or work as a dentist in hospital either private or government. First thing, to get into university, students need to go through Neet -UG after completing 12th standard. All this information about the exam, results, counseling, and colleges, students can get from neet site. College admission process is very smooth and I don't think it needs to change as such anything.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to do this degree since I was in 12th class. I wanted to be a doctor either by doing BDS or MBBS. This curriculum of a degree prepares well for the real words so that we can start our own practice, but you have to be willing to learn if you do not learn in your college properly. Then you might have to learn from outside, but it prepares you well for the real life. The exams are held once at the end of every year and the difficulty level of exams is moderate to high, so you have to study very seriously if you want to pass with good marks After the theory exams, they take the practical exams and there is equal mark distribution between theory and practical, and you have to obtain 50% marks for passing

Course Curriculum Overview:

The B.D.S alone in itself is not that fruitful due to surge of dentists in India. Although, if one can set private clinic and can run it it's a wonderful career. Certain basic things are limited for MDS students although they can be tought to the BDS students too.

The faculty members teach you here how to handle patients . Somethings you have to learn by yourself but the exposure to patient teaches you how to handle outside world. It increases your patience level. Difficulty level is high as compared to NEET UG.
