Course Curriculum Overview
The B.D.S alone in itself is not that fruitful due to surge of dentists in India. Although, if one can set private clinic and can run it it's a wonderful career. Certain basic things are limited for MDS students although they can be tought to the BDS students too.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee in the first year is around Rs. 81,000 which increases with an increment of 10% with each year. E library fee 2000 Hostel fee 50000 Library card 50 College fee 25000 The fee structure is different for government and private quota seats. The college doesn't provide any scholarship.
Campus Life
There is no coat ceremony or convocation done. Though when I joined a coat ceremony was held. This year a lohri parties are organised on s average scale. The individual departments do cerebrate there days very keenly. There are no clubs or students portals. We only have class representatives.
Hostel Facilities
There are singles rooms as well as double rooms available. The double rooms have an attached washroom and a balcony whereas single rooms have common washroom an no balcony. The mess fee is Rs.3,000 per month and the food is edible and mostly good. The only thing I dislike about the hostel is its fee.
Admission
I choose this college because it was the best I could get and afford according to my NEET rank. I didn't wait for the third round of counseling and I regret it to this date. Had i waited I could have got a government college.
Faculty
The teaching staff is very knowledgeable and experienced. The B.D.S. is a four year programme with a year of compulsory internship programme. First year - Anatomy, Biochemistry, Physiology and Dental Anatomy Second year - General pathology, General pharmacy, Microbiology and Dental materials Third year - General medicine, General surgery and Oral pathology and microbiology Fourth year - Oral medicine, oral surgery, orthodontics, conservative and endodontics, prosthodontics, pedodontics, periodontics and Public health dentistry Fifth year - Internship
Interview Experience
We have to give NEET ( National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) get addmission in this college. This college has total of 100 seats available, out of which 50 are government and rest 50 comes under private quota.
Night Life
There is an old namesake gym. The cafeteria is ok-ok (the coffee here is tasty). The library timming are short which usually closes at 5:00pm. The hostel entry till 8:00pm and fine is charged if one arrives late. There is just one big ground.
